I always seem to have the worst teammates who are complete idiots. Not bad, just complete and total morons. I do not have a lot of patience with idiots.
You know, those teammates who let you die, even though your shields are low and theirs are full. Or the people who won’t cover the flag when we are at home with the enemy’s flag?
Or the “we can take the first base in the last few seconds even if we don’t have any time into it” pushers. Anyway, my own complaints aren’t what this is about. I want to see your “I want to strangle the stupid out of you” moments with your teammates.
I detect a flame war coming from this, but I don’t care.

so lonely
Main reason I like to play with a full FireTeam. CTF is the worst though for random team mates, they only seem to want to get kills, and not worry about the objective at hand.

Same problem. I can’t find a reliable team to play regularly, so I just get matched up with a bunch of randoms who won’t defend the points but seem to think CTF is slayer. Can’t remember the last time I won an arena game, of course in WZ I usually know to give up and hide after the first few minutes.
If you`re playing Solo then what else do you expect
I always play with team mates in Xbox party who I know. Playing with a team and people you know in a Xbox live relationship way is the way to go and guarantee your victory.
Get a team… be pro
There have been times where I’m the best player on my team, and if you’ve very seen me play, you know I’m really bad. There was one arena game I had where the only kills one of my team got were team kills. I don’t know if they were colour-blind or just stupid, but they were really annoying. Also, why doesn’t anyone understand that you have to capture the flag? If you see the enemy with your flag, STOP THEM! Don’t just go “Oh look. They’ve got a flag the same colour as ours. Cool.”
I made a video about what you are talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Frz5EOCnDGY

I play as a random and love helping capture the first base and then defend it or cover home base and defend the flag from capture. I also go out a bit of home base when I see our flag carrier coming in and have many a time sacrificed my self in order to stop someone chasing the carrier into our home base.
If you see me on-line, send request and I’d be happy to join you in a team.
My best story, from recent games, is a team mate with the rockets who, in a matter of about 1 minute he/she:
- killed me with a rocket during an assassination
- killed me with a rocket when I was beating down an enemy
- killed me coming over the top of a ridge (I think they just saw movement and fired not knowing who was coming)
Although initially I wanted to throttle them after the 3rd betrayal, I just had to laugh it off as how noob a move it was and kept playing.
I think we did win that one though…
not going to stat flame you but judging by your service record it would do you better to play with friends or a team
at those levels of play you will be facing more To3 and To4
i solo Q my matches because i just dont like playing competitive halo, if i lose a game i lose, if i go neg i go neg, life goes on lol
EDIT
i just noticed you have not even tried to qual in january’s season or this current season?
friendly fire is off in warzone so how can you claim all this SEVERAL MONTHS LATER?
if you are playing mostly BTB then that is to be expected
So sick of you people complaining about crappy team mates and people quitting. It’s part of online multiplayer. Deal with it. It’s happened since counter-strike and will continue to happen.
Unbelievable.
Its a people problem, not a halo problem.
The dumbest thing I’ve seen anyone do in multiplayer is Spartan Charging a teammate in Breakout. It goes like this: round starts, launch off the man cannons, sprint, and two seconds later, we lose one guy and there is a little thing on the left of the screen showing “personA Spartan Charged personB.” I don’t see why some people do that. We just start the match and we’re already a man down. Really got on my nerves. In Warzone, sometimes I end up with a team that can’t hold a base to save their lives. And in Warzone Assault, our team (defending) will hold the first base for about 3-4 minutes, then all hell breaks loose and the enemy wipes the floor with us. They then proceed to capture the armory within 2 minutes and we hold out at home base for about 3-4 minutes as they destroy our core.
Everything you just said along with morons who don’t even know how to play whatever gametype they are in.
Now this is from a different community right now but I tried to play a game Grifball on Reach earlier since its one of my favorite games. Every single person other than myself and one guy on the enemy team would just sit in a corner for the whole round and not try to score. I got so annoyed that I started killing the guys that had the bomb to try and get it to the bomb pad. It turned what should have been a 5 minute game into 12 minutes of misery that we lost in the end because the one guy on the other team who knew what he was doing managed to score once.
When your teammates don’t capture the first side base on Battle of Noctus and you get greeted by multiple enemies and die. Then the enemy takes both side bases, flanks and captures the central base, and continues to step on your throat for the rest of the game while you hopelessly claw at their ankles.

Shudders
The flashbacks…
Thankfully I got the nerves to join a spartan compamy, Spiteful Warriors I, so mow I can play with a squad. But before that It was horrible! I stay back at the flag, stronghold, or base cuz I suck at offense; my teammates would go for boss kills or Spartan kills, forgetting the objectives. I try to go and get the flag, base, or stronghold myself but fail miserably! The garages are capped, total control by the enemy, and they are on their way to flag cap 3. I callout on my micfor help but get yapped at ("hey -Yoink-! Get your -Yoink- over here and kill the 10,000th Warden!).
Shudders
right with you Turtle Boy…
