I do not know if this has been discussed, but has anyone else noticed that in Halo 4 it is difficult to see the tags over your teammates heads and that you are no longer given a visual indicator when your teammates are shooting or being hurt? In halo reach for instance, it was fairly easy to find your teammates and when you were not looking at them, there was an arrow on the side of the screen that was either yellow for your teammate shooting or orange for your teammate being hurt.
While watching gameplay, I have had a lot of trouble figuring out where the player’s teammates are and what types of situations they are in. Besides the lack of indicators being detrimental to viewers watching the games, I assume it is also difficult for the actual players to locate their teammates and to know if they need help. I know communication between teammates can reduce this issue, but it still seems like a big problem to me.
Another thing I noticed the death marker is missing, but I assume the decision to remove it was made as a result of the instant respawn.
Note I have not had the chance to play Halo 4 so I am speaking strictly from what I have seen from watching other people’s gameplay.
