I’ve noticed an annoying trend.
Multiple times every match in Big Team Slayer, players have Betrayed me in a Warthog or Mongoose, only to stop, get out, and pick up whatever ordnance I was carrying.
The frequency of this, and the fact that it only seems to happen when I have a very visible weapon like a Sniper Rifle or a Binary Rifle leads me to believe it’s deliberate.
Teamkilling will always be a part of any online experience, there’s no way to change that, however Reach gave an option to kick players who Betrayed frequently, and if you believed it was deliberate you could boot them from the game, which also acts a deterrent to this kind of behavior.
It’s very frustrating to work up to an ordnance drop, only to be killed for it by a team member, with no way to retaliate.
Is there a reason the boot feature was removed in Halo 4? Are there any plans to implement it?
You can’t boot people? When did they take that out?
No. However, I have been betrayed for the Mantis. A player ran me over with the Banshee. Sounds funny… but unfortunately true. :=(
you can kick them if they team kill up to 3 times. its bs i know. i think since the only way to TK someone is to run them over with a vehicle then you should be able to vote after just 1 offense. after they get their sniper rifle or what ever they have no reason to TK you again.
I’ve gotten kicked for this many times because ill go purposefully TK them until i get kicked from the game. another thing i like to do is if they are in a vehicle like the mantis ill just use the plasma pistol on them a few times and throw some stickies on them.
i basically have nothing better to do than to screw with the touch that TKd me because i know they won’t get booted for one offense. blow up their vehicle, stand in front of them when they are trying to snipe, anything that will annoy the crap out of them.

No wonder I only see the boot function from time to time. In that case, I will start booting those particular players.
