Warzone Firefight isn’t easy, even if players play in Heroic, or Legendary. That being said, teamwork is crucial. I get it, a lot of players also want to be a Lone Wolf. I am a Lone Wolf in Halo, but I also am a big team player, as I usually put the most effort into the matches by score in Firefight. It isn’t impossible to be smart in Warzone or coordinated, even without a mic.
For starters…
- If a boss is present, or there are multiple bosses, players should focus on one boss at a time, not multiple ones. One such example of this being an issue is when there are three Wardens, with a Mythic in the center of a base, or Multiple Mythic Hunters, Ect. There are too many times where matches fail due to players running about trying to be a one man team against a boss and die, wasting precious resources and time due to the spawn rate in later rounds. - Don’t be stingy with your REQs, they’re there for a reason. There are far too many occasions where players will be in later rounds only spamming grenades, or using only loadout weapons. This doesn’t help much when facing enemies like Hunters, Knights, Wardens, Wraiths, or Banshees. Most rounds are lost due to players not using sufficient vehicles. Having a ground vehicle will help tons if you have them. Wraiths and Scorpions tend to be the most useful, but in the case of fighting Phaetons and Banshees, a good REQ would be a laser or rocket. I have noticed that most rounds fail when fighting Banshees and Phaetons, especially boss ones. Again, Teamwork is key. - Know the difference between needing a weapon or a vehicle. If the enemy has taken cover in an enclosure, such as Mythic Knights on Skirmish at Darkstar, or Hunter Elders on Escape From ARC, using heavy weapons proves beneficial for completion. If an enemy is in the open, use a vehicle, if available. This makes wasting valuable REQs less of a concern.
-
Don’t be a one man army or troll. Most people think they can be a one man army and face Legendary bosses by themselves or hoards of enemies, especially with loadout weapons/basic vehicles. During later rounds, you die endlessly and waste precious time to complete the rounds by doing this. Stick by your teammates, use cover when necessary, and please use REQs that are beneficial if you have them. As for being a troll. Don’t steal vehicles, or splatter teammates. This doesn’t help. These are things that I think are most helpful for Warzone, and I think it should be proper to know how to utilize better tactics in Firefight. Teamwork is key, even if you’re a solo player.
You can one man army if you do it right.
And stay on top of the scoreboard, I do.
The only team work I do is shoot enemies that are about to kill teamates.
When I see them get into bad situations.

It’s possible, but many players seem to not understand coordination usually which makes being a one man team hard when you have to do all the work that other players cannot.
I generally go in as a 1 man army but I listen for team chat and I generally back my team up if one man army isn’t working.
Team work is a key feature of the game, but I’m not gonna use my reqs when I solo FF or JIP into a game. Can’t trust randoms helping out.
Even when playing with friends I play as more of a Lone Wolf and I never use weapon reqs. As long as you are team shooting and positioning yourself for critical hits you can be successful. Vehicle reqs are another story though. Having the correct vehicle can really help you climb the scoreboard.
Sometimes you do need to run in to get the attention of a boss, If you can get a Warden to turn his back on three vehicles to go after you they will do enough damage to take the boss down. That is really the full extent of teamwork you need to win matches.
Heroic makes it even easier to be a lonewolf. AR spray and pray til you get to level 3, pull out a ghost and you can make it from round 2 all the way to round 4 or 5.
I play solo but generally try to help the team as well. If I feel I have high enough reqs I will let others get a few kills if we are doing good on time. If you use the right req weapons they are helpful.

Most people don’t position themselves though. Most players go running into the nearest boss spray and pray with weak vehicles or weapons, and that makes completing the matches harder. There’s a time for weapons and vehicles usually. Most people don’t know that difference. I play alone always, but stay near a group of players and focus on one enemy at the time. Most playes split up and this causes enemies to take longer to kill. When facing bosses of Legendary or mythic level, focusing every player on just one cuts the time to complete matches in half amd requires the use of less resources.

I have only seen this, at most 1 out of 10 games. Where players scatter themselves out or are spawning in a way that they are not somewhat grouped up. I dont understand why anyone would go running in solo especially against a boss, unless you can get a splatter most bosses have more health than what ammo one spartan can carry even if its a high level req weapon. I have always tried going after bosses that others are fighting for the sole reason that you have a lesser chance of the boss targeting you.
ive definitely carried teams with my reqs on rounds. but it can be impossible. i like to team up with friends like throw a damage boost on a gauss hog.
