Why are Brute Snipes and Shotty Snipes still in the playlist? It should just be the Team Snipers mode (S7s Only). Also add Empyrean to the playlist too.

Shotty snipes was always a social playlist and team snipers was human sniper only in H3 as a ranked playlist. There was never any variants of Team Snipers beforehand. Beam rifle snipers was never it’s own playlist.

Personally I enjoy variety - would get bored of S7’s only.
Thats literally what the playlist is for though. Team Snipers. No need for variety in a playlist like Team Snipers where the entire point is its supposed to be ONLY the Sniper.
I enjoy my shotty snipes.
But yeah, add Empyrean. For a map that naturally has 2 snipers, it only makes sense.

I’d prefer having the social skirmish playlist back and adding shotty snipes and Brute snipers into it. Or just add them to quickplay. Either one works for me, but I have a feeling people who play quickplay more will want the playlist to be only standard gametypes.
But team snipers should definitely be all about sniper rifles imo. It could have variants with shock rifles and stalker rifles, though. But have the variants that don’t rely as heavily (or at all) on sniper rifles in other playlists that are more about casual fun (not saying team snipers with only sniper rifle starts isn’t at all about fun. Quickplay and social skirmish just lean more towards that sort of relaxed gameplay).
I don’t remember how halo 5 did team snipers, but at least halo 3 and halo reach originally had shotty snipes in social slayer while team snipers was its own thing. Halo 4 on the other hand didn’t even have team snipers or it was removed, if I remember correctly. But like I said, I wouldn’t mind having variants with other sniper rifles in team snipers.
I think it’s ridiculous that the covenant sniper is missing from Infinite!

Agreed. Stalker rifle and beam rifle can fit in the sandbox together.
I think the stalker rifle is more similar to the covernant carbine. Like where’s that weapon too?
