Why are there no BTB maps available for team snipers? Playing snipers on a bunch of small arena maps is like playing CoD.

+1 in the sniper hate. It doesn’t work for me. I didn’t touch it all weekend.
I don’t mind playing snipers on the smaller maps, but I do agree that the BTB maps should be added in to the rotation.
Snipers isn’t really my thing. Didn’t play it at all this weekend.
well snipes has always been a snapshot game, you dont really aim down sight in that mode, been like that in previous halos as well
I do think they should put some btb maps in the rotation but not only large maps. I’m really enjoying playing on small maps that was I can work on my snapshots which is where my sniping fails.

I’m inclined to disagree. My favorite moments of team snipers came from maps like blood gulch/coagulation and Valhalla. The bigger maps are better, in my opinion.
I play snipers on Deadlock once.
4v4 snipers on recurve? basin? that doesnt sound like fun, that would take forever. think if one or two people quit and its 2v4 and you’re running around the map trying to find these people camping in the base. no vehicles so it would be a long game. BTB maps should not be used for 4v4 snipers. maybe 5v5 or 6v6 would work, but not 4v4. bad idea.

Not always, only since Halo 4 introduced massive magnetism so that no-scoping actually became viable even if your aim isn’t that great. Reach had some, though not enough to make it easy, Halo 3 and CE had none, and Halo 2 I believe had quite a bit, too. But, say, in Halo 3, scoping in was very much a thing even on the smaller maps. Even in Reach I still remember scoping in quite a bit, though no-scopes were definitely much more common. But since Halo 4 it has just been a total no-scope festival.

Sniping is meant to be from range, so your 100% right.
I gave it a shot this weekend, however it is rather annoying that they put up snipers or shotty snipes up so much on the weekend.

hemorrhage, just bring back that map from Reach
practicing snapshot was nice, get rushed to many times when people saw where i was sniping. this helped me get more profecient in snapshot cause thats basicly all i did

Please leave CoD out of this. Halo and CoD need to be separate.
