Team Snipers Being Removed Is Suspicious

Team Snipers being removed was the worst decision I have ever seen in a game. It’s clear people like it. What’s the real reason the playlist can’t stay on the list? I noticed that there’s a problem with the playlist menu. For example once there’s too many playlist they go off the screen so you have to scroll down to see them. I think there might be a major flaw in Halo 4’s menu design for playlists. That’s why there’s such a small amount of them and they’re desperately rotating them. Other than that I can’t see any reason to rotate the playlists. I haven’t turned Halo 4 on in over a week and coming to these forums is giving no reason to play it again as of yet.

I think we are playing a Beta, they are calculating how we play, rather than listen to forum goers and gathering information on what to do and on purpose what not to do.

Another great example of the community reading too deep into something thats not there.

They rotate one every week and snipers was one of them, SWAT stayed in because it is so popular. We have known about this for weeks before the launch of Halo 4.

It’s not suspicious.

And do you know what is really weird?

The flag that Armstrong “Put” on the moon. It doesn’t even move…

343 is up to some trouble…

Its mainly for data gather. What people like and dislike about playlists as wellas popularity. Its kind of like a beta but for less conventional gametypes. Also its suppose to give players incentive to come back every week.

The game is out for about a month and your complaining about too small of a playlist?

Well there is the REAL reason why they took Team Snipers out, and there is the BS excuse they’ll use to cover their mistake.

Which do you think 343 will give us? Given their history, I’m sure it’ll be the latter.

Team Snipers has been bad since day 1 in Reach. Good reason why it was on rotation. It isnt popular like the complainers claim. Hell, that hopper was despised because of all the BS

I wanted to quote the opening post for my point but this deserves to be quoted more then anything. Thank you. Wish more people would stop and think about this flag thing.

But on to my point…

Power weapon camping is lame and lacks any skill at all. With drops, it shows your skill. Why? How you may ask?

Simple. You have no idea what the other person coming at you may have. So you have to be on your toes every moment of the game.

Past Halo games you would be like oh boy, he is coming up from downstairs, the rocket launcher spawns down there. Bet he has it now.

With drops, someone may have a rocket launcher at any moment or any other weapon.

Drops show your skill. Only people upset about drops ARE the power weapon campers. They relied on getting kills by weapon camping. Now they can’t. Worse they can’t get a power weapon 95% of the time unless they kill people to earn the drop.

Drops > weapon spawns x inifinty x pi.

If you hate on drops, you probably aren’t good enough to get them. End of story. I have yet to hear or read an arguement as to why they are bad that is logical and/or carries merit whatsoever.

Isnt this thread about team snipes?

I think the big issue is balance moreso than anything. And when I was on it didn’t have nearly as much people in it as other playlists. Hopefully they re-release it with some of the super-huge maps taken out.

We have to look at whats not there because every other Halo game we have played had it.

this is the worst decision you’ve EVER seen in a game? is this the only game you’ve ever played?

o.O

If either of you are being serious, then your education has failed you.

Yes, it is. I’m an idiot and posted to the wrong thread. Yep, I’m moron.

But for Team Snipers. I do not miss it. The lag was soooo bad in that game about 90% of the kills were cheap and horrible. People would jump up out of nowhere for a split second with no aim and get a headshot when they were so off target like it was the most horrid bloom from Reach. Sorry, I felt Team Snipers was pure cheapness.

I’d rather have binary rifle or railgun then the human snipers anyday.

Halo 4 is awesome so I just didn;t play Snipers after tired of the cheapness. Population I think support that too. There was I think maybe 3-5,000 tops ever in there at peak hours?

You know its not a typical flag right? Its more like a sheet of thick nylon pinned so it would not move… All of them have pretty much faded to solid white though now. I assumed your post is sarcasm, but just in case its not…

Edit: snipes just was not as popular as swat

Maybe it’ll be merged with DLC or something?

One can only hope 343 is able to kick things in the future into high gear and bring back Snipers not just as a rotational playlist, but as a permanent playlist.

Did any of you kids play Halo 3? Bungie used to rotate gametypes to keep the game alive.
