Bare with me I just recently started playing Reach again but it seems like when I play Doubles after I play slayer that I come short on my headshots and my grenades just dont seem the same. I apologize if this is a stupid question to ask but I am kind of curious to see if the two are different in some way. Thanks in advance.
Yes, Team Doubles and regular Team Slayer use different gametype settings. The reason you are coming up short in Team Slayer is due to the fact that bloom on the DMR(when your reticle expands, and your shots become less accurate) expands faster. You can read more of the actual TU changes here, although Bleedthrough has since been removed.
that is the exact reason i dont play reach coz so many noobs still play vanilla because they don’t know about the bloom and its 343i fault they have screwed the matchmaking up they need to make it all zb but slow the rate of fire of the dmr down but its too l8 i just hope they aint screwed h4 up, like if the dmr is better than the br i probably wont play it coz they have contradicted themselves once too many times y would they use a dmr if the br replaces the dmr the changed it coz the armor was getting more advanced

So, if you do not play Reach, why are you posting in the Halo: Reach Forums? Seems a little redundent, don’t you think?

What? Me and my buddy still win in Slayer and Doubles. Go check the game history. All I said is they were different types. I understand its a little frustrating playing two different types of games inside one but you just have to adjust and not complain. Like the rest of the world does about everything.

The Super Slayer playlist is essentially a TU version of Team Slayer.
Is there a link I can read about the details of Halo 4 matchmaking?

I don’t know of any, but most Halo 4 info is linked to in Enfinit’s news thread. If any Matchmaking info was released prior to the 25th, you’ll probably find a link to it in one of the first posts in that thread.
