We face a decision that will impact the entire halo reach community, as team slayer remains one of the few playlists that doesn’t hold the TU changes.
I think it should be updated because halo reach is changing, and I hope more people than myself find armor lock too overused and it also requires no skill. I become extremely frustrated when I finish a anniversary game and go play a team slayer game with my buddies, and the entire rules of the game change, what with sword block:( armor lock, etc.
Or another way to do this is to add an additional team slayer with TU updates while keeping the same team slayer playlist with original settings. This would for the most part satisfy people on both sides of this argument. But either way TU has to take effect, in some shape, way, or form, soon.
Granted it still remains one of the original reach playlists, it is imperative that the rules be the same across the board. This is my view on the subject, what’s your’s?
Granted halo 3 changes were more massive, and reach’s team slayer could just use the update, but as the argument continues im curious as how much people love the old and new playlists, so it is to early to tell. But for the most part, an update is much simpler.
It is about fighting games, but it can still apply. Reach is currently split between two sides. One wanting Reach to be improved and become better while the other side wanting Reach to be changed and played in a different and specific way.

You mean
One side wants reach to be the same, while the other one wants it improved.
Good video though.
though it explains how you feel, but I can also use it in my defense

Well not really. What I mean is, default Reach has plenty of options we could explore to see how the overall game balances out, even without a TU. The TU is mainly good for MLG/Arena with the bloom settings, but if its universal it breaks the rest of the game. To say default Reach has no problems is rather ignorant, but the TU, while fixing some or specific problems also creates a few more.
Yeah I know, the video can be in support of the TU. But you can also look at it this way, defaut Reach is SF4 and the TU is Arcade Super SF4. While it does improve some areas it also creates problems in other areas.

Well, thank god we dont have to buy 4 different games right.
Well, I think we really tried to adjust the settings from what we got from the TU, Movement speeds, Jump heights, Damage increases. Just was not enough, The TU was needed.
Well, If you reread the bulletin again, B.S Angel added, that the TU settings may relieve some tweaks.
Honestly, I want the TU in team slayer, so the whole game just has consistency.
