Team Slayer (4v4) needs maps with vehicles.

Not every map in team slayer should have vehicles, but some should. Every Halo but Reach had vehicles on some 4v4 maps. Halo 3 had Standoff, Sandbox, High Ground, Isolation, and Last Resort (to name a few). Reach had none. Even the forge maps lacked vehicles.

I find vehicles fun in 4v4s and I’m certain that others do to. They changed the pace and monotony of just running around a map, and they promoted teamwork.

So please 343, bring back vehicles (on some maps) for team slayer.

I felt that in reach, it was extremely hard to find a good vehicular battle. So I agree!

They aren’t in there, possibly because Halo 3 and Reach ahd differnt gameplay mechanics, and neither Bungie nor 343 felt that it would bebalanced for 4vs4…

However,maybe Halo 4 game mechanics,like 3,allow for 4vs4 w/t vehicles to be balnced…I hope so…

That was for two reasons.
-) The vehicles were too weak.
-) The maps were awful in comparison to other Halos.

OT: I don’t mind vehicles in 4v4 slayer maps but I don’t really want them in the Team Slayer playlist.

I agree you so much! That’s what Halo Reach lacks! 4v4 and 5v5 were so much more fun with light vehicles! I hope there will be.

I do sort of miss using vehicles on Rat’s Nest and Standoff. The only time I even use a vehicle in Reach is when I play heavies, but destroying everyone with the scorpion isn’t that fun

I completely agree! the only way to find a good vehicle in reach is to go to invasion or big team. not that i dont like those , it’s just that i think they should be in more playlists.

They should, theyare a major part of Halo.

100% with you op

Standoff TS was great along with many others.

I hope they make a come back in, HALO 4

I agree. Rats nest never made for super competitive games, but it was fun as hell every once in a while to play it and just get in a warthog for as long as possible

I’m not much for vehicular combat. But a few maps with vehicles for 4v4 games isn’t bad. Just don’t have too many of them.

totally agree op

As long it isnt like the damn ghost on snowbound, hated that thing

> As long it isnt like the damn ghost on snowbound, hated that thing

No, it’s more like the ghost on isolation.

Yes, put in a couple mongooses so I can shoot you off of it

I used to goose back in Halo 3.

they should have big wide open maps with vehicles banshees, tanks, wraiths, warthogs everything, dosnt matter if it’s too over powered or what ever its just for all out fun, seriously i really cant get my head around why reach lacked this completely, imo thats what helped make halo 3 a success, i can always remember getting these kind of maps everytime in halo 3 on big team, why wasnt this done more often.

I hope H4’s vehicles get a MAJOR overhaul from Reach’s iteration of vehicles. I want driver damage only; I really just hate the ability to team DMR a person’s hog down leaving the driver with little to no options at that distance.

As for 4v4 vehicles, I’d say I agree as long as they’re only light vehicles. Maybe a medium/heavy for objective types, but for slayer, I’d only like to see ghosts, hogs, and any other light vehicles they may add.

Tempest wasn’t that bad, I liked it. Had some nice Warthog action.
But yeah, I get what you’re saying, it’d be nice to have more maps like that.

Whoops, Tempest, that makes 1 map.
