Team Shooting is the new Winning?

Don’t get me wrong, there were times in the old days of halo that this method had to be used, some guy holding a strong hold with a power weapon and couldn’t break grip. But this as a standard, across every team as a strategy to win?

That’s sad, considering Halo 2 and 3 had less of this but team work was there still. From what i’m hearing, there’s no indicator of a teammate losing his grip in a 1v1 shoot-out? Really? Then resorting to steal kills just so the team wins or attempts to?

No, no and no. There a fine line between that tactic, unfortunately CoD and Reach contribute upon main-streaming that team-shooting is the only strategy to win in team battles, instead of coordinating tactics or knowing teammates could handle their own and still show victory or defeat.

I hardly recall Team BR shooting me every game in Halo 3, its either you got it or you don’t. Seriously health system of Reach and CoD…

you would assume when you join a team game, that would be the point.

…what is this about?

Funny how we stressed this in tourney play and it was never a question of stealing kills but more about winning the money.

> you would assume when you join a team game, that would be the point.

which point? The idea of a 3v1 continuously or being fair in actually dealing with conflicts, people getting proper kills, strategically beating them and winning? Because health system is like 3, mindset of everyone is Reach or CoD when it comes to team-play.

> you would assume when you join a team game, that would be the point.

Erza-san has a point. A valid point at that.

If it means winning, some players will do anything. Halo players can be extremely ruthless, especially when dealing with randoms. I know I’ve been tempted several times to kill one of my team mates (a random, at that) who had a binary rifle and couldn’t hit anything with it.

I’ll admit to being common, and will do anything, but a change in mindset over a 5 year period of how a team functions to win in halo is sad.

Again its not Reach anymore, there’s no extra fat to trim off in following of team shooting, so to have that go on in a brought back 3 health system, is too much to even continue doing…

I’m so tired of being told I’m stealing kills. He’s not dead until he’s dead. Is rather win than have you lose a 1v1 because I don’t want to steal your kills

Lmao whose fault is it that you are being caught alone 3v1? Either you stay in range of 3 red dots inc, or you stay with a teammate and if you catch anyone it is MAGICALLY 2v1…

Its really simple. I can’t believe someone is complaining about teamshooting in a tactical shooter Lol

Lol both sides to this argument have a point. Last game i had 20 assist. Sigh

Its only kill stealing if the intentionally yoink you. :stuck_out_tongue: Hate it when you save someone by assassinating the person shooting them and they repay you by stealing your kill

How about this: We ALL HATE DAMN RANDY’s.

> How about this: We ALL HATE DAMN RANDY’s.

Sounds about right.

Well it is called ‘Team’ for a reason, i don’t get upset if i don’t get the kill, its going towards the team score, not for my own personal gain (also i don’t care about KD).

I’d rather my team Killsteal than not get anything.

Which seems to happen all the time.

Wasn’t it like this, always.

Looks like you need to find some teammates to back you up then, that’s what you get sometimes being a lone wolf…

When I’m a lone wolf I usually just find an open hiding spot and start DMR’ing.

OP uses logic!

OP is confused…

OP hurt itself in confusion.
