One thing that irks me, and does not really make sense to me, is that team Osiris, four spartan IV’s, are supposed to compete against the greatest fighting force of all time, blue team, who have had more experience fighting the Covenant, as well as fighting in general than any spartan alive. Also the fact that Spartan II gear and and augmentations are infinitely superior to the spartan IV’s, it would seem like if team Osiris even stood a chance it would be non-sensical and totally canon disrupting. Anybody want to touch on this?

Actually, their armor puts them on an equal playing field. That should clear up some of your confusion. Frank O’Conner confirmed this I believe.

Spartan 2s are already superior and now that we know that they are using the Same Gen of armor it farely obvious that blue team is still better.
The spartan IV’s have boss armor but blue team has experience, brains, toughness, and skill. The spartans IV’s armor has to make up for blue teams bossness (if thats a word).
Don’t forget, Blue Team is old.
Over 40 years of tireless combat leaves a bit of wear and tear. They’re strong, experienced, and skillful, but their expiration date is right around the corner.
The two teams are on par for various reasons, but if you need justification for how they can face each other on equal footing, then PLAY THE -Yoinking!- GAME YOU BABY.

Exactly. I would give Blue team the advantage, but it’s not like Osiris is bad. They seem like a pretty good team
The Spartan II bias around here never ceases to amaze me.
Blue team may have more experienced as Spartans but everyone in Osiris has done amazing things before the Spartan program. Based off of what was shown team Osiris is using their older skills and adding them to their Spartan training. Like Buck his ODST training is shown not only in his armor but the way he fights. Blue team is aging and has no experience fighting other Spartans while Osiris does because all Spartan 4s go through the war games. Yes they are fighting other Spartan 4s and Spartan 2s have stronger shields but that’s really the only advantage Spartan 4 armor may have weaker shields but they a lot more maneuverable because of the thrusters Team Osiris was picked out of many Spartans to find blue team so they can’t be pushovers. Lets be real here the only reason people like Blue team is because that’s the only Spartan team the chief was on compared to other living Spartan 2s most of them are average in skill. the only ones this not applying to being chief because he’s the master chief and Linda because it has been said she is the best sniper the Spartans 2s ever made Kelly maybe the fastest member on blue team but not of all the Spartans shoot even the chief has ran faster than her.
