If you have played in the Team Objective playlist, this is the place to leave the Matchmaking Systems Team your feedback! Please leave your thoughts on the following items and issues:
-Game types offered in this playlist (game settings, how they play on the map, etc)
-Maps in this playlist (design, weapons, flow, balance, etc)
-Anything else related to this playlist that you feel is important!
Note: If you found a bug while playing Halo 4 Matchmaking, please post here.
The Matchmaking Systems Team will review feedback and join the discussion when necessary. Thanks for playing.
Loving the playlist so far! Only thing I would request is that it is brought back to 5 man teams… I think Oddball and KOTH playlists worked better with 5 than 4. Regecide wouldn’t be too hard of a switch from 4 to 5 man either.
I was playing King of the Hill on Haven and got a perfection, but I didn’t get the commendation or medal. I thought you receive the commendation regardless of what war game you are playing. I don’t know if this is a glitch since it is a new game type, but I definitely would like my perfection commendation because those aren’t easy to get for me, haha.

I prefer 4v4 over 5v5. The more players in a game, the less individual skill matters. Especially now that instant respawn has been disabled (hell yes!), in 4v4 games, a good player can do a better job of carrying his team by, for example, outslaying the opponent threatening the objective.
Also, the more players in an objective game, the more constant the pressure on the objective. The objective is never left alone, and that leads to chaos. A good game comes with an ebb and flow of combat: In oddball, for instance, if you have few players on your team, you are forced to wait for your teammates to make a push if you want it to succeed. In 5v5 people don’t even bother waiting because there will be always enough people alive to put pressure on the objective. I think that the resulting chaos will interfere with communication and good teamwork.
CTF too would return more to the old ways and be played 4v4 on small arena maps if it were up to me.
U should of left these gametypes in their own separate playlist,so people can play the games they want when they want.now I am going to be forced to play oddball or regicde when the only game I want to play is KoH. Separate playlists is one of the unique things halo 4 had, now its starting to look like its back in bungies hands
Extraction should be added. It is an amazing gametype.
I’d also prefer CTF to be included with a high weighting in Team Objective so the CTF playlist could be removed. Include Infinity CTF with a low weighting.

All of this,
Perhaps even move CTF into the Team Objective and Big Team playlists and remove the CTF playlist.
Good lord Three Hundred and Fourty-Three Industries, Abandoned, Adrift and Solace, where the heck is Haven? You know the one map that doesn’t have very tight corners, hallways and caves. I’d like to see Haven & Complex being in the selection more.

I respectfully disagree with you. I prefer 5v5 because it is more team oriented. I understand what you are saying in your example for oddball, but I believe the problem wasn’t 5v5 but the quick respawns when oddball had its own playlist. Now that it is added to this playlist they fixed that (hell ya!) which brings us back to the team aspect where I believe 5v5 is better than 4v4. I rarely play objective without team mates.
I can’t really add much opinion to CTF because I rarely play it

BAM! Nailed it
I can’t see any logical reason why, when we STILL LACK 8v8 OBJECTIVE, we’d get kicked in the b@lls again with the removal of 5v5.
This just keeps getting worse
As if we have no friends
Why must we boot another Clan member - SORRY BREW! 343i regressed to 4v4 -
Why… my head throbs with hate
Arbitrary, punitive decision making?
Or simply a lack of understanding?
Here is a HAIKU for you
343 hates me
Still can’t play with all my friends
And now even less
My sadness knows no bounds, and as leader of the Clan, 343’s failure feels like my own somehow. How have I let everyone down. Halo is supposed to be our game.
You know what? The whole Abandon thing really gets me. Here you have a map, that the entire community has pointed out is lop-sided, and the developer eliminates the one gametype that would work on it. I am talking about 1-Flag. Same goes for Complex.
1-Flag would WORK. 2-Flag… well on Abandon we all know the answer, and Complex et. al. could be debatable.
Total Wack-MC thing to do, removing 1-Flaf like it was going to help.
In fact, it is such an odd set of circumstances it makes me wonder if all the Halo Matchmaking standards were in fact IN PLACE during early development, and only eliminated later on. Abandon simply is designed around 1-Flag if you look at it. And man, that could actually be FUN. Storming the base right. It almost seems to perfectly logical. TOO LOGICAL.
If we have to get used to being in ‘The Future’ where games ship with all of a handful of maps, with the PROMISE OF DLC DELIVERY later… which amounts to not much overall… then why not include all the gametypes Halo used to have?
Does 1-Flag rub 343i the wrong way? Are they MAD at 1-Flag? lol
1-Flag was so awesome. Such a change of pace. Getting set for the change in rounds was EXCITING.
Ahhh 343i… perhaps you should look at decisions you make, and just try doing the opposite, which, according to a big chunk of the -Yoinking!- on these forums, would actually make your fans happy.
This title update could make or break 343i. I had hope about two weeks ago, but now I feel like we are going to get seven new types of Slayer, ordinance in every game type and a whole new way to shove Regicide down our throats that we haven’t even thought of.
I Think instead of making this playlist 5v5, just add objective modes into Big Team or make a 5v5 or a 6v6 playlist with the objective modes (maybe not KOTH, that might be a bit too hectic with larger teams on larger maps and Dominion seeing as that has a dedicated playlist of this size) and slayer too! I doubt a few larger Forged maps similar to the ones we had in Reach would do any harm if they were to be added as well.
One thing that would complete said playlist would be Assault, especially neutral bomb on maps like Meltdown where the centre of the map is the focus for the vast majority of the match, except we don’t have Assault… do we?

Agreed. Abandon would play a very solid game of 1-flag.
