This is not a rant against air rushing. But, i feel its being exploited in Team Objective because the maps are large and most teams are focused on capturing nodes. Players (usually of low skill) choose Anders, ignore nodes and “quick tec”, swoop in behind bases with a fully upgraded sentinel army and blast your base to bits in 8 seconds or less.
I think for Team Objective mode, there should be spots close to your starting base to build additional turrets.

I would agree with this, or some way to make your base harder to kill.
Even if you control all three nodes you won’t win the game before they have maxed out air and destroy your base because you’re so spread out defending the nodes.

yeah maybe in domination start all bases with turrets, even new bases after you upgrade them to have turret slots and just in domination make all buildings have 50% more health and turrets do 50% more damage.
I certainly agree. My last few Team Objectives have been just how you described. Early on my buddy and I get all of the objectives. And then the opposing team sweeps in and just attack out bases. It is very annoying.
I am not sure if that is a tactic, or they just want an easy win because they can’t win a Deathmatch.
Rushing bases while capping some power nodes is part of domination. Sitting at your base, maxing out air and then swooping in on a base from behind is just cheap and abusive.
Have to tweak something here to make it more defensible.
