Team Killing

Please add an option where you can select a persons gamertag and put them on avoid. I am getting tired of being put in games with team killer…Also you should make a medal called shame for betrayal kills. That way us player can keep track of who to avoid.

I think you can just block them on the dashboard if they’re that bad.
Just don’t do what I did and end up getting a coms ban for a week.

yeah, I know with the 360 they had an avoid option and not block. I feel block only mutes them and disables the ability to send invites and messages.

The only solution I can give you against team killers or trolls is to block them and report them for their behaviour.

Blocking players on Xbox Live (on the One) only stops those players from seeing your activity and sending you communications. It doesn’t stop you from matching with them in games.

Thank you for clearing that up. What can be done if anything?

If you encounter players with bad behavior in games, you should use the Xbox One report feature to report them appropriately. Players who accumulate too many legitimate reports will lose Xbox Live Reputation; if they continue to go down in rep, eventually they will reach a point where they can only play with other bad reputation players online. This may not be an immediate solution for avoiding players, but you can bet that if people use the report feature as intended, repeat offenders will get their just desserts.

Well I guess that just more motivation to play with your Spartan company. That way the whole team can report team killing

Woulden’t the medal encourage this kind of behaviour?

Also, yeah. The report feature. Use it all the time for quitters.

Only if they wanted all the players in the game to know they are team killers. When you go to the carnage report and look for this medal it be easier to report.

So question on the medal. Are you wanting every team kill to receive said medal? What about an actual legit accidental team kill? You can’t always control what your team does. Example being one stepping in front of a rocket last second, or a ghost trying to splteer someone and a player just happens to thrust in front of the way?

I can tell the difference between accidental and purposely done. My question is how will others view that with the medal in play? Some guy could’ve been on a whole different area of the map and not even see the betrayal and still put in a report.

Exactly why getting a medal of it would be perfect. One or two can be accidents but if you see someone that got 7 or 8 there should be no question on that. I admit even I have ran someone over that dropped down in front of my warthog.
