Just played a game where the retard on my team kept killing me, he was never booted, we lost every round and he never got booted. Then I got deranked. Can this be fixed please?

Funny thing is I wasn’t even going for BR, I just like using that route to flank the enemy but I guess he didn’t like that.
I haven’t come across team killers in breakout too often thankfully (although I usually only play breakout when my buddies are on, as communication gives you a massive upper hand in that mode) But I have been betrayed and seen my buddies get betrayed for one reason or another and no one gets the boot option. I understand not letting you boot on the first one, cause a team kill can screw you for a around but booting the guy could screw you for a game if he’s not a team killer and it was just an accident. But disabling booting just allows those who do want to team kill to just ruin the entire game. I got outright betrayed while assassinating a guy, just so he could then take the kill.
Yeah booting is disabled so that boot-happy players who get betrayed a single time on accident can’t ruin the game for everyone else. Obviously it should just be a simple 2 betrayals and the boot option pops up, but it doesn’t seem 343 had the foresight to realize that disabling booting entirely would allow trolls to kill their entire team for fun.
For some reason 343 and bungie both never have gotten/did get betrayal booting right. It’s always inconsistent when the option turns up, and sometimes people seem to get away with repeatedly killing teammates on purpose while other times people get booted for 1 accidental betrayal.
