I am finding myself attacked or outright killed by players on my own team in matchmaking sessions of Arena one out of ten matches, at least. They either do so independently or in pairs, usually lowering my others shields in order for the opposing team to make a quick kill. Leave too many matches and you are banned for ten minutes. Defend yourself too often and you are kicked from the game. I have to believe that it is some tactic used by others to boost their KDA and wins in order to progress quicker in the game. I can’t be the only one noticing this as a deliberate trend in the Arena. I haven’t come across this in Warzone, which is why I play that more than the other.

This is something you only really find at low to low mid ranked games, where people aren’t as good and don’t care about winning. The only way to remedy this is to play as a team of 4, however this can br a hassle. Tean killing doesn’t happen in warzone because team damage is off.
Then I am glad that I am grinding to level up as fast as i can.
This has been an issue in every halo
Whenever this happens to me, I stop fighting the enemy and focus all my attention on the betrayer. If you can get him to betray you again; I think after 3 betrayals you can boot him out of the game which is Quite satisfying!

I met the same guy in 3 games straight. He only lower my shield, but not kill. That was frustrated thing ever.
I don’t understand people. I feel for you though, its happened to me. They’re a plague on society and I wish there was a garbage island somewhere we could banish them to.

Exactly what I do as well. Accidents will happen, especially with explosives, but if it’s intentional I stay after them annoying them until they kill me enough times to boot them. However, I think it needs to be lowered to two betrayals for a boot option instead of three, especially if none involves a nade, rocket, etc. Most times in my experiences with it, they TK for power weapons, but I’ve seen it happen for seemingly nothing too.
