Team kill in breakout

Let me explain my concern.

Recently I’m playing a lot of Breakout and every game I try to rush for the Battle Rifle. I really like the weapon and I’m good with it. The thing is some time one of my teammate just kills me and take it for himself. I know after 2 betray we can kick him from the game.

My question is what happen to them?.. Nothing?.. Temporary ban from queue?.. Also if you’re one of those who kill your teammate just to get his weapon, why are you doing this?.. Why don’t you just try to get it before the person instead?

Some people are power hungry. As for myself, if I lose the race… I let it go. If I win and I know the other guy wants it. I’ll let him have it. More time spent killing the other team than having to fight for it.

ive been betrayed by People many times for a weapon. and have also accidentally betrayed people(not for the weapon) in breakout and in past halo’s’ really at this point the damage that has been caused its just time for FF to go. FF needs to be removed form halo so the game can benefit and prosper more. and dont let people tell you it belongs or other nonsense like “The game will become a grenade Spam”,“it encourages Strategy” most likely they are the ones who are betraying players for their power weapons. and they most likely do it mainly because they feel entitled to that weapon more then you and think they are the only ones suited for the weapon. or they are kids and when they see you get it just a sec before them they throw a hissy fit and betray you for it.

FF just needs to be removed

No way am i trusting someone with zero kills to take the Br on round 4. Not saying i will kill them but… There could be an “accident.”

Its a real problem in breakout. Whenever they do it to me ill just grab it again and they kill me again then I can kick them. then I report them on XBL and send them a message saying: Reported.

I don’t think FF needs to be removed especially in Breakout where you only have one life and need to care for it every round.

I’m fairly new to Halo (last one I played online was Halo 2 or 3 I don’t remember) and I come from League of Legends where you can actually report someone for in-game behavior and those person can get ban if they are determined guilty. Is there anything near this in Halo?.. Because in the end you just lose. Either you kick him and play 3 v 4 or you let him get the Power Weapon and lose because he’s bad. In this situation, the betrayer is in power because if he get kick, he can simply queue for an other game and nothing happen. Am I the only one who thinks this is wrong?

I once was 7-0 in 2 round and a guy killed me for a BR and he ended up killing no one and we lost that round pretty hard. After that I knew he was trying to kill me, I had to dodge his attack while killing the enemy… after a round or two he stopped and start playing the game.

I was recently kicked from a game after a guy kept trying to team kill my teammates when we got BR (Team of 3 and 1 random). He would just follow us and spray us with the SMG.
It would be nice if they added a # of damage to teammates before being kicked.

Or some kind of strike system.
You kill one of your teammate, you got a strike.
You do X damage to your teammate this round, you got a strike.

And after a number (2) of strike you can be kicked of the game.

No. Stop trying to turn halo into a training wheels shooter.

removing Friendly fire is not going to turn the Game into less of a skill game. you people are having delusions. FF has plagued Halo for far too long its time it goes. it nothing beneficial to the franchise. Halo 4 actually had it right in this area.

But keeping it just means you need to be more careful… I understand that in Swat it’s ok to remove it but in every other mode I like having FF on. You just have to manage your shield properly and aim grenade better. So yes keeping FF makes Halo harder but it also give the opportunity to better player to shine instead of just running and gunning à la COD.

FF does nothing beneficial. im not good because of FF. im not skilled because FF is there no im Good at the game because i trained and practice. the Thought that FF can make a player better is utter -Yoink- lies. that’s a fact. and people don’t care if there’s FF or not to throw a grenade near you if they want to they will do it regardless of FF being on or off that’s just a fact. buts its quite evident that FF over the years has done alot more harm then good. so only result is for it to be removed. there is no way that FF being turned on makes anybody a better player.

Honestly, in a mode like Breakout, I wouldn’t mind having FF off. Betraying someone on accident is more likely because of the weaker shields.

You got one point on that… FF is not for casual game… But since all the playlist are ranked, FF is a good thing. Also it’s not true that nobody cares if you’re near or not when they throw a grenade. Only those who play for KD and not for the W don’t care. Finally, FF is part of the game right now, so if you throw grenade near a teamate in a fire fight then yes, you are bad at the game.

While we’re at it, if their is someone spray and painting from behind one of your enemy while you’re in a fire fight with him, would you call it a good play or would you be mad if you die because of it?

Betray on accident is ok. You just have to be more careful. It happen to me sometimes when I try to ground slam someone and one of my teammate is spartan charging the same person. The thing is there is no way to penalize teamkiller from doing it. So the victim is suffering while the aggressor gets away with it.

Some guy killed me just so he can score the flag on big team battle… I don’t think he knew that our flag was missing because when he did it, we didn’t score. LOL
