it’s like team slayer: AR starts, default AA,s 2 grenades. yea. That alone disappointed me. But lets dig a little deeper. If If we look at the health system of this game, your shields have normal strength, they pop in the same time they would pop in any normal team slayer game. its the health that really got me. After you have lost all of your shields, it only takes TWO body shots to kill you. That’s right, TWO.
Wa-I… Can this… bu- no… Wait, what?
Why is it like this?! out of all the other mechanics you could have used, why would you make everyone weaker right off the start. Grenades are massively over powered now, it LITERALLY only takes one to kill you, no one NEEDS to put one shot on you to make sure the grenade does the job because it just will.
Right off the start, everyone is weaker. Why? was it used to balance out the attack strength gain as you kill three other enemies? because it didn’t work. Why would I go into a game with half my health, a chance to get stronger, and be able to run at a snails pace? how is someone with maxed out 3/3 heat marker supposed to be threatening if it takes only a second to kill him, and nearly two minutes to get anywhere on the map? He CAN’T play anymore after that. He’s forced to sit in a room and WAIT for the others to come to him, he’s to slow to do anything out in the open. An AR rusher would be able to kill him before he’s even able to turn around and defend him self, so he’s now confined to a corner. But not even that is safe, because a single grenade (one that doesn’t even need to land close to him) can kill him in one shot, no matter how much health he has.
I only played the game type once. It’ll be the last time I ever play it.

Then why did you post? Don’t post if you don’t know what the thread is about.
> Is this an Action Sack gametype?
Yes. I thought it was going to be fun, despite the default load out weapons. but it wasn’t. why would I kill the enemy just so I could become a bigger target?
Someone with 3/3 heat can go right in the open and be fine.
Case in point: Last night I was carrying a turret (Yes, so I was running slower than slower than molasses. No, that wasn’t a typo). Someone came behind me and started firing at me with a 0/3 AR. I jumped, spun around and fired my turret, only about 3 or 4 bullets, killing him right in the open of the map.
3/3s don’t need to stay in one spot. In fact, if they move around, no one will stand a chance, especially if you make use of other weapons like the Plasma Pistol, Conc Rifle, Plasma Repeater, and such. Those weapons make a 3/3 a walking tank because of how powerful they are at 3/3 (The Plasma Pistol is quite literally a 4 shot kill). You may be moving much slower, but you’re doling out three times the damage than you should be.

Okay how did you get that computer in the kitchen?

I’d like to start off by saying that Team Hotshot is terrible. It is not fun and requires little skill. If you have the snipe, no one can kill you. Also, I just went 20-0 in a game of Hotshot and didn’t get a Perfection. Why?
With that being said, show us more Action Sack love. It was so much better in Halo 2 and Halo 3. The last game I played, five of the voting options were Team Hotshot and the sixth was HaloBall Xtreme. Are you kidding me? Both game types are just bad. Why are you trying to force us to play Hotshot? And on another note, is that seriously the best idea you could come up with for a new Action Sack gametype?

What doing more damage than a normal team slayer game?!?! oh- oh- ooooh noo. Not everythings made to be competitive ya nit wit. I Fing love hotshot though. Unlike the TU gametype it actually gave me a reason to vote for it. Its not an everyday gametype and its fun pretty much the definition of actionsack. Finally a gametype where you dont look like an idiot for trying to get kills with something other than the dmr :]

That reminds me why is that even in action sack it clearly has its own playlist.

I guess I’m not the only one who see’s this gametype for what it is.
