I love what I have seen of Halo 4 and thought it was time I reposted something I mentioned earlier, regarding custom colours.
I suggest that players have three colour options. One for default, featuring all available colours. One for red team, featuring various shades of red, orange, yellow and black/white as primary colours only. Finally, one for blue team featuring shades of blue green and purple, with black/white as primary colours only.
Firefight voices available in multiplayer would be a nice touch.
Comments, could someone from 343 please take am look at this, any information on customisation is good information. xD
P.S. Weapon lowering over live, when will we have this?
I like the idea of being able to customise your colours for each team but I think the primary colour should always be an actual shade of red or blue, secondary can branch out a bit more but having colours like green as a primary colour for a member of blue team is a bad idea.
True, provided that the secondary is more prominent in 4 than it is in reach I will agree with you. However, if that system was in reach it would defeat the purpose a little bit.
Yeah, I agree, multiplayer should allow you to use shades of red and blue for team based matchmaking. But I believe that your secondary should be allowed to be any colour that isn’t a shade of the opposing team, e.g. blue with green, red with brown.
Love it man! that would be sick. I always kind of hated how everyone looked the same when the game was all about customizing your armor and stuff. I think it would be a good addition if it didnt confuse too many people
This is easy enough to implement, and obviously a popular idea. As I see it, the only way this won’t get in is if 343 never hears about it, so regularly check back to bump the thread.
This is a brilliant idea, although I remember somewhere that 343 and microsoft are physically not allowed to use consumer submitted ideas. Although I would love to be proved wrong.
Man, that would suck if by mentioning something, that prevented them from using it. If thats the case, I give all rights to the above ideas posted by myself to 343, or something, I’m not a -Yoinking!- lawyer.
Here we go. I dug around and found that idea related Microsoft Terms of Use:

If anybody here went to the link I posted earlier, please thank the OP. The lower FOV idea is brilliant and I think that it will greatly improve game play in Halo 4.
