How many times does the community have to plea before we see any change on not having Team Doubles as a permanent gametype? Some playerbase was lost due to this, I know I stopped playing for a long time. Team Doubles kind of eliminated the social anxiety some people might get from playing a game with 7 other players instead of only 3. I know that was my issue. I didnt like playing with brainless teammates. At least with doubles you could save you both. I know ive had flawless games and perfections before.
For some of us it is hard to have 3 other friends online. Doubles is perfect because you only need one other friend online to field a full team. I cant agree more with how it feels to win a Team Doubles match!! There is just nothing else like it!
Agreed, and I was pleased to see a Team Doubles playlist with community maps all but confirmed in the community update this morning! I don’t want to get too excited, because 343i have been known to over-hype and cause disappointment (Infection) but it seems like it could be part of the Warzone FF update which is due within the next few weeks.
I’m not holding my breath. 343 has nearly killed Halo for me, and it’s sad since I have played since HCE. Not only could they not help but tamper with Halos tried and true foundation, but with their own work too. That sure as hell doesn’t inspire confidence to me. The summer refresh concept is a joke. The majority of the Arena maps were -Yoink- to begin with but at least they played ok. All the new updates are terrible. IF they add double team, it might be broken right out of the box, or it might be too little too late, for me and a lot of players. Time will tell, but either way my faith in 343 has wained to near non existence.
I used to play loads of doubles on halo 4 and reach. It makes me so sad to see that doubles isn’t in halo 5. Me and my friends use to play doubles non-stop and we would try and both get perfections. So much fun that we can no longer experience.

Been playing Halo since Xbox. My friends and I simply do NOT play Halo 5 at all since there is no doubles. Bring doubles back and we will play again.
Seriously!!! Bring back Team Doubles… Halo is more competitive with Team Doubles. I’m not sure why you guys did not include that in Halo 5. Doubles requires more concise team work. Please read this and many other fellow Team Doubles post and reconsider please.
