Would love to have a team doubles gameplay! Since the matchmaking is very team oriented and it may be tough to get a full firesquad on at the same time a majority of the day, Team Doubles would be huge to keep yourself away from getting screwed by an incompetent teammate!
Playlists are planned to expand as time go on. In the mean time, finding a spartan company can help you get some reasonable team mates.

My brother and I were talking about Team Doubles and here is what we think will happen. In an upcoming weekend vote the options will be: Team Doubles, Infection and Griftball and Team Doubles will lose to one of the others and we will never see this playlist before the Halo 5 population dies off and then they add the playlist out of necessity lol.
343i is keeping doubles for when population drops… Right now I believe they want people to focus on warzone.
It’s similar to why halo reach isn’t a day one game for backwards compatibility. They don’t want to split the population, it’s too soon.

That will be the day my friends and I will go back to titanfall or buy one of the new shooters.
They will continually add some. Team Doubles is one I think they will definitely add.
