team doubles! unique

Hey a step in the right direction. Only question is if it is possible to get a gametype with radar enabled while playing the pro settings?

but i still enjoy this!

Why do you want radar? It slows the game down, leads to camping and gives people a crutch because they don’t have to use awareness or call outs.

Because what you’re describing is a situation that’s virtually non existent when playing with randoms.

Don’t play with randoms. Honestly though i would rather have no radar if i was playing by myself because I could make pushes without have to crouch walk around. I really hate when doubles games turn into crouch walking matches. Especially when you can spawn with a shotgun in this game and all you have to do is wait until someone shows up on your radar.

There’s a reason matchmaking exists. It’s because not all of us have a team of people awaiting us to be ready to play Halo 24/7.

I play with randoms more then friends cause my Australian friends who have this game hate it for the horrible matchmaking and my American friends, well different time zones, So I play with randoms and radar does bring in allot of camping, but so does not having one, But for team doubles it just makes sense to have no radar at all, There’s four people on the map. You don’t need a radar. That’s my two scents anyway.

EDIT: And by scents I mean cents

You’re on a forum. There is no reason you cant find people to play with. Just fill your friends list up. You have 100 spots. there is no way if you fill your list up you wont have somebody on. Besides doubles is the easiest playlist to carry in. One of the reasons it was the easiest playlist in halo 3 to get someone a 50 in.

Of all the playlists why would you play Doubles with randoms? IMO the motion tracker should be disabled in Doubles and the min party size should be 2 players. If you have problems with ppl sneaking around, get a good headset like a Turtle Beach. I personally don’t have one, but a few of my buddies do and it is literally impossible to sneak up on them even when the motion tracker is disabled.

Yeah that’s one problem i have with this game. I feel like they tuned gameplay so that some of the perks would have relevance. For example grenades have a horrible default blast radius but that’s so explosives wouldn’t be overpowered. Footsteps are ridiculously loud, louder than any other halo game, but that’s so the stealth perk will have use.

Such a simple solution… why didn’t I think of that?

If you get frustrated because of the randoms on your team add people and play with them. I don’t like having randoms on my team so I don’t go in by myself often. When I do go in by myself I know what to expect and don’t get mad at someone on my team going -20 because I put myself into that citation where that player was on my team. I don’t get complaining about completely avoidable things. There are tons of halo forums out there and on those forums there are tons of people to add and play with. Things will get better though when ranks come out because you will be able to get teammates closer in skill range.
