Team Doubles Quitters

I’m sick and tired of the quitters in Halo, but in particular the ones who quit in Team Doubles. It’s a disgrace to say that at least 85% of my games on Doubles, my teammate or one of the opponents quits. If we’re losing they quit, if their teammate isn’t performing well they quit. I have been an avid Halo player since Halo 2 and I’m mortified by the poor sportsmanship that occurs in Halo multiplayer. Whether it’s your teammate or the opponents teammate that quits, it make for a much less exciting game over all, not to mention unfair, and frustrating. I report every single quitter, and I send personal messages making sure they know how I feel and how much of a poor sport they truly are. Halo is a game, it’s meant to be fun, so take it down a notch and let’s have fun. Please stop quitting!

Yeah, I agree with you. Having quitters whether it’s your teammates or enemies sucks.

Hate to say this but if you want to have a game without quitters in your team, find someone or a group who’s looking for someone to play some team-based playlists. Usually a solo-queuer but that seems to be the best solution for anyone who doesn’t want to have quitters in their team (so far). Hopefully, what the MM team are working on can help minimise the issues with lopsided matches which in turn can minimise the amount of people quiting.

The quitters really do ruin the game… Just because the “join in progress” system totally fails. I started a game with 1 v 4… TWICE! Not fun.

Honestly if you’re playing doubles you should just never solo queue. It’s not that hard to get just 1 other person to queue up with.

Thanks for the input. So I don’t have any friends to play Halo with. Are there still ways to find a group or another solo Halo player interested in doubles? I’m simply about having fun, and making a good game out of things.

This is partly why I avoid team doubles. I would probably stay to the end of a game but if a friend ‘disconnects’ in team doubles due to 343i’s poor servers, it becomes a killing farming then I shouldn’t be expected to stay in the game because it would unbalanced plus with flinch it just isn’t fun dealing with 2 against 1, that can’t be countered unless the opposite team are horrible at the game. It’s part of the reason why I never really join team doubles by myself since most games could be with random team quitters, I don’t want to be put in that situation.

Have literally quit about 10 times in the past 3 hours and no penalty LMAO this is GREAT!

Totally agree. Quitting is a noob move, its more of a noob move in doubles.
