The power weapon ammo needs adjusting for this map. Way too much Saw ammo and Beam ammo. Honestly the only power weapon should be a beam with 5 shots and maybe a grenade launcher with 3 shots or something.
I don’t mind the weapons on this map. I don’t find the beam rifle is a huge threat for the most part. Every once in a while you run into someone that’s good with it but not too often. most games seem to come down to saw and gravity hammer control which are both strong at close range but weak at long range. Stay out in the open and use the br’s. It’s easy to burn up that saw ammo trying to get guys that are too far away and the hammer is useless at distances outside of melee range.
I’m playing at a very high level in doubles though (onyx) where these weapons are way too good. I have won games 25-3 against really good people on that map solely due to being unkillable with all the beam and saw ammo, and I have also lost games to people I am definitely better than due to those weapons. You have so much ammo that you can use the weapons to secure the next round of beam and saw which virtually locks the other team out. It may not be like this in the lower skill levels (diamond and below) but its a huge issue at high onyx level. There is no need for the saw to have 2 whole magazines. There doesn’t need to be a hammer either. Its just too many power weapons. I had a game once where my friend and I won 25-5 where 23 of our kills came from power weapons. That’s unacceptable.
