If we’re having some server issues and things maybe we should add this awesome 2v2 game type. It’s a favorite of many and would provide small games that might actually work better in current matchmaking conditions. Also having it ranked would be nice.

I would be afraid we would end up 5 against 1 somehow… But I’m definitely a fan of doubles, and you wouldn’t need many people to get a game going. So there’s that. =P
Dude we could only wish they would add doubles this early… It’s hard to be patient at this point.
Right! 5v5 is awful. I miss the tactical feel of doubles. It just seems like it would be so much easier on the servers considering the current problems.

They’ll release doubles, then raise max players to 8 just to get people into games faster…(which is stupid) But then at least I can finally play 4v4 again… Wish they wouldn’t of taken that away but oh well
Ah… I doubt it. As other people said, it probably wouldn’t even be 2v2. Creating even teams is just too much of a daunting task for 343 to handle competently… We’d try playing doubles, and end up in 3v2, 2v1, 5v1, 6v3 games… you get the idea.
