I don’t have a date for you but can confirm Doubles is in internal playtesting and will come to matchmaking at some point during Season 2.

Genuinely curious… why do you need to play test Team Doubles? That’s just Team Slayer but with 4 less people.

Also… how has it taken this long?

Because they have to “assess what effects releasing Doubles will have on other playlists health.”

The same reason they justified not having a slayer playlist at launch.

You know, since playlists have worked for decades in conjunction with one another…… but can’t be done without extensive testing!

I’m sure it will be an “event” too.
