Here you have it, a direct quote from BS Angel on twitter, she was responding to a tweet to her and this was her reply; “@bsangel: @IanMatuszak We’ll be featuring Team Doubles in early 2013. As far as being permanent, we’ll monitor the population and act accordingly. :)”

I’m not sure if anyone else has seen this tweet so I felt i should post it here for the many people that either complain or truly can’t wait. Feel free to express your happiness or be angry at the fact that doubles isn’t coming at the exact moment you want it to, the choice is yours. :slight_smile:

Yeah…I’m not terribly fond of the way rotational lists are being handled. I enjoy the idea, not the implementation.

SWAT has kept the third highest population in the playlists since inception, yet there is still the chance it will be removed. I feel like after a month of consistent numbers, it should become permanent so 2 other playlists have a chance to shine.

If the population were to slip, and remain low…they could always put it on probation by putting it back into the rotational line up. If people know it might be leaving, they will either hop in the playlist again to keep it going, or they will let it fade away for a while to try something new. I feel like the only thing that could dethrone it at this point would be Grifball (my second favorite after SWAT) or Objective BTB which seems to be in demand, even though Objective isn’t my cup of tea.

Tl;dr Make SWAT permanent already and have 2 rotational playlists. Revamp the way rotational playlists are handled. Hopefully my buddy renews XBL when doubles is around

What maps are you gonna play 2v2 on? Every map is like a BF3 map in H4.

Have 20 playlist with every gametype and gametype variant.

And let the community do what it -Yoinking!- wants.

But no, for some reason it is currently unfathomable to 343i to simply put in gametypes that have existed since 2002. So what if a playlist has 20 people? So what if it has 200,000 people? This game doesn’t even use dedicated servers, its all host. There is absolutely no reason to NOT have a huge number of playlist.

Everyone play it when it comes out. That’s the best way to keep it.

They’re probably waiting on the next map pack. I’m guessing the playlist will be launched alongside it like Extraction will be with the Crimson Map Pack.
