Team colors and Starting game intro

So, after playing the Technical Preview and the Beta.
I have found myself in a lot of situations where I’m standing next to my enemy thinking they’re on my team.
Why can’t we just have an option to overlay everyone with their team color. Like the option in MCC to disable cosmetics. Because sure, coating is a nice idea. BUT it doesn’t work in Halo.

I get the feeling that every game is a FFA game. Which is annoying.

And for the Intro to each game. Why? just why?
I just want to play the game, In Halo 3 it basically takes a few seconds for when you find a match to when you’re running around.
In Halo Infinite, You find a game, you have to wait for the map to load, then you have to wait for the redundant intro and then you can start playing. And this is for every…single…match.

I have so much more that just seems off about playing Infinite. But that’s for another time.

Honestly I haven’t once thought an enemy was a team mate - I have enemy colour as yellow, for reference.

I agree that the intro gets a bit tiring after a while though.

I’ve also never mistaken the enemy for my team.

For one, there isn’t a giant waypoint over their head with their gamertag.

I doubt they will ever allow you to disable player customization as its antithetical to the whole F2P model.

I already am really disliking the customization. The Tenrai armor looks ridiculous, and apparently they are going to continue to use these fracture events to introduce ridiculous looking armor into the game, and the flaming effects are annoying. I also think the death effect is downright offensive. They allow people to spend money to send seizure-inducing flashes to your screen.

It’s one thing to allow players to customize themselves with ridiculous gear and what not. It’s just completely wrong to allow other people to pay to customize what happens to your screen when you die, and they chose to have these stupid, bright, startling animations happen. It’s very messed up.

Yeah, I have a feeling that their monetization model will be their downfall.

I’d rather pay for the multiplayer than have it ruin my experience playing the game.
