It’s terrible. I’ll have games with team mates going 12 and 25, or 1 and 10, and while I may go positive it’s nothing compared to my atrocious team mates. Implement 1-50 already and be done with it.
Considering new people are getting the game almost everyday its hard for the game to match up players of equal skill in these early months. id give it 4-6 more months before it becomes accurate.
as for the 1-50 that is a dead argument. True skill was just as bad in halo 3 as it is now. having a number next to your name didn’t determine what players you played against skill wise.

Considering most players have played at least 100 games the true skill should never match someone with a .5 with someone with a 1.5 k/d. There is no such thing as hidden true skill it’s just like the tooth fairy.
Oh and as a 45 I never played against a 2 in Halo 3 so maybe you should know what you are talking about.
I usually go around a 2 K/d overall, and so my opponents tend to be pretty decent. My team mates however, remain garbage. How is that fair? I am fighting four players with decent aim, knowledge of map control, and who stick together. My team mates run around with assault rifles going cripplingly negative and leaving me to fend for myself in 3 on 1 scenarios while my team butchers and ground I can gain.
Not to make this about K/D, but it is an indicator of how unhelpful my squad is. And since all of my friends are on Black Ops 2 and Skyrim, I’m left to trust in 343’s system. For the record, H3’s team mate differentials were never this big. Was far more balanced than H4 and Reach’s.

100 games is no where near a good amount to judge someones skill. Want to know another reason why teams become unbalanced? because everyone wants to play against someone. If the game can’t find them a proper match it sticks them with others. Its the same reason why randoms can run into full parties.
As i said above your number never ment -Yoink-. I remember playing halo 3 and running into level 25 people thinking “oh look low level this will be easy.” then they proceeded to hand my -Yoink- to me. Your implying that if i was a level 35 for instance that everyone i played against that was 35 or higher they would be equal or better. And that was almost never the case. But i guess people only tend to remember the good aspects.

mine is also near a 2KD. And i will have matches where i run against people im way better and my teammates will be good as well. Ive also had it where i get bad teammates and good enemies. Like i said the system is still learning about players over all since new ones are joining and people are still learning. The game has only been out a month. And ive already played against equally skilled people more then i can remember of my days of reach and halo 3. You need to give the system time.
Take for instance christmas is around the corner. that means A LOT of new players and us “skilled” players will have more of a chance of having bad teams/enemies. Heck i’m usually the one doing best in every game i play but i’m still getting a hang of the multiplayer. Others are too.
