I just faced a full team of onyx against gold and silvers.
Yup. Wouldn’t be Halo 5 without it.
This happens to me all the time in all ranked arena types. I’m getting really, really sick of it. There is absolutely no excuse for rankings to still be this broken more than a year after launch. Doubles is the worst for it, I’ve never ranked higher than mid gold tier, yet for some reason it thinks I ought to play Onyx/Champion… This desperately needs addressing

I meant people said its always been like that but I’ve not seen it in months till after this last update.
Are you sure thier wasn’t one silver/gold player in that team. Its how that can happens more often than not. Also thier might have not been anyone else playing. Not sure what regien your in. And then thiers always halo5 great match making issues

That’s not the game I don’t think they came after the full team of onyx. I’ll look it up in a bit if need be.

Oh, okay. It’s funny though, but you could also use that game as an example.
So… play better? lol. One would think if you want to rank up you should have to face the ranks above you and take their place.

This was the gameThat second game wasn’t too bad in a way it showed me that I wasn’t reacting fast enough. It kind of woke me up a bit.
That was weird I got a notification that some one “responded” to the topic not “replied” to but they haven’t posted ?
You know what? yes it is unbalanced!
You know what the solution should be?
No more teams allowed in arena!!! Only parties of 2 can join a team arena game. Clearly players grouped up shouldn’t be allowed. That’s a much easier solution for 343 than trying to prioritize team based matchmaking with a fair skill gap.
Its their half -Yoinked!- solution to warzone, why not arena?!
