I don’t have a source for this, because it happened to me when i was playing at the IGN Black BETA. I came around a corner on adrift, and saw someone teabagging a dead body, okay, that’s normal… I go to shoot the bloke with a shotgun, and BLAM! it was a hologram. Am I imagining things, or has anyone else encountered this?
Halo 4 isn’t out til November 6th. I hope no one (Outside the internal beta that is) has played it.

If that is a real thing, then holy -Yoink- that is awesome! Not only HILARIOUS but SOOO smart! People -Yoink!-, and when people -Yoink!-, they are generally defenseless. When they are generally defenseless, then the enemy will get excited and make the jump. When the enemy gets excited and makes the jump, then they attack the hologram teabagging. When they attack the hologram teabagging, then they are distracted. When they are distracted, you get the kill. When you get the kill, you use hologram again to -Yoink!- their body. When you -Yoink!- their body, the enemy rages. When they enemy rages, they attack the hologram teabagging. When they attack the hologram teabagging…

My brain hurts, but I do like the enthusiasm.
UNSC technology has advanced quite a lot. From powerful Rail Guns, to teabagging holograms.

Hologram was my favourite AA in Reach and now it just got even better…

That’s awesome, but I never called anyone out for playing a leaked version. You came up with that conclusion on your own.
That being said, a hologram that mimics the players moves, rather than just running on a direction, would be pretty sweet.

Sorry, that wasn’t really targeted at you, more at the community as a whole, I’ve been accused many times, so I finally snapped haha.
I find it really hard to believe what I saw, as I haven’t heard anything at all about it before!
Bodies disappear after a while… Holograms can’t possibly look like a dead body either.

No worries.
Never know, they may pull a rabbit out of their hat with it. Haven’t seen much in the way of hologram gameplay.

It only happened once, so I can’t say for sure… probably wasn’t the finished build (although, it was after the game went gold) so it could have been a glitch… We’ll just have to wait and see I guess.
Maybe you were seeing things and it was glitching. Even in Reach you could make the holo walk funny by “shooting” it at specific objects.

or the person who was tea-bagging deployed a hologram and ditched right before you shot him…
343i said in a podcast that holograms walk in a straight line, the things they’ve added to it are that it makes enemies reticules turns red activating aim assist and also appears red on the radar.
Ok this is just speculation but I think this may be possible, maybe hologram mirrors your movements, so if you jump, so does the hologram, if you -Yoink!-, so does the hologram, could be one of those improvements 343 was talking about.
I think it would be easy to incorporate (maybe; but I am no game designer lol); if you had your reticule placed over a tad body of the enemy team/enemy, and used your hologram, it would go to that spot, and, if it was over top a dead body, start teabagging.

That is actually how i think it may work (if it is indeed part of the game)
