I think it would be pretty funny if they gave you a medal (or just an achievement) when you crouch on top of someone you just killed (maybe a 5 second window). It would pay homage to one of the trademarks of the Halo multiplayer, and it’s also good for comic relief.
That would just influence it even more, and make people leave the game.
As much as I want to jump on this idea and scream ‘YES!’ with all my heart, I have to disagree. It would result in a lot of people just tea bagging for a medal. And that’s not what its about.
It’s about that special moment; that bond you share with your fallen foe. A moment so precious; a bond so strong… That you just can’t help but to put your balls in their face.
I don’t need to be rewarded for something I love doing.

Funny, but too much.
Hahahahahahha
no
I respectfully disagree OP.

Exactly, f the medal. If I -Yoink!-, it’s for a specific reason. Not for a medal.

I think you should get a special medal if you can respawn and kill the guy tea bagging your body in fact it should be a legendary medal, and an achievement. “Vengeance is a dish best eaten cold”
I would enjoy this medal. Would probably be second on my medal count behind only head shots.

Rewarding it just encourages it. Then it wouldn’t be done to demoralize or taunt your enemies. It would be hilarious yes, but the best comedy is spontaneous. Rewarded by that of laughs from your fellow team mates, or symptoms of anger from your foes.

Now you’re thinking. Much more practical.
Also. It’s good to see a Halo 4 thread that isn’t a debate, but more of a friendly discussion over an idea. A collaboration if you will.

slowy starts clapping
The more you do it, the less it means.
Save it for those extra special kills.
I imagine it would be like Mario game. Each hump on the body gets you 1cR.
I myself know what it is like to be t-bagged. You just stare there, watching your precious set of armor getting… violated. And there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it. And it makes it so much worse when I know I deserve it.
Which is why I sometimes risk getting killed by a sniper, run over by a vehicle or not being able to prevent loss of the game by not securing the objective, head out into the open and t-bag the living crap out of my foes’ dead body. And the proximity voice feature of Halo makes it so much better.
I know Halo 4 will be good, because it will have t-bagging.

Yeah, that’s we need. Reward people for teabagging. That really is a horrible idea.
maybe at most a 5G achievement for your first time but nothing more…
It’d be Halo’s version of the paramour achievement

I like the achievement idea better. Clearly, I didn’t think much about it. Just trying to make it look like less of the same posts on here. Good to see some actual discussion, though.
it would be a good idea for campaign. Like you kill an elite and see how many medals you can get in those 5 seconds by jamming on the thumbstick.
