Anyone else agree? Or would it be weird for Spartans to use such a one of a kind weapon? Then again, Prophet’s Bane is a Req.
I feel like it was a missed opportunity.

Yes it should have been. Like you mentioned the Prophet’s Bane why could we not get the Fist of Rukt? They dropped the ball there. But I do think they are giving us different variations of the Hammer
Fist of Rukt was lost on Delta Halo, and to my knowledge, no human has ever wielded it. How would they create a simulation weapon for a relic that they have never even seen first hand?

And not to mention mass producing said weapon. This may be too logical for a video game now…

Best canon logic I’ve heard so far.
I’m kind of excited to see how his gavel functions.

Prophet’s Bane counters that argument entirely. It is a one-of-a-kind weapon that the Arbiter had made for himself. No mass production necessary in a simulation.
Also, the Fist of Rukt was never said to be lost on Delta Halo. Tartarus died with it, and that’s the last it was seen. The UNSC either took it then and there, or the Arbiter has it. Either explanation makes having the Fist of Rukt in simulations justified, as the Arbiter would sooner provide the means for the Fist to be simulated than his own sword.
Can’t a weapon just be in a game, without the need to satisfy canon? Just for the sake of pure novelty? A Legendary weapon of the series?
Or is that too logical of a thought process too? “Ohh NOOO, we can’t have THAT! Doesn’t conform with the lore!”
Geesh…

Everything is relative, I suppose lol. We can pretend, right?

In a whiny kid voice “But that would have required effort!”

Except multiplayer is part of the canon now, as it is training simulations aboard the Infinity. Whether you agree with that decision or not, it is canon. So lore does matter.

I never understood why 343i decided to do this. All linking canon to multiplayer does is restrict the multiplayer and take away from the full experience. No one asked for it and its not like it benefits Halo as Bungie’s games did fine without making multiplayer canon.

Sweet! Nailed it
Hope this is the real reason…I like when people take their canon seriously
I still wonder what the big deal is over another hammer variation. It’s just another pointless add on to warzone, does the same thing as other hammers, doesn’t really hurt the game with it missing either.
