Target Locator ?

I’m surprised that the Target locator hasn’t been mentioned by 343i to be returning or not, it was on of the best weapons in halo reach

That would be dumb because there is no orbital guns in halo 4 to call a strike and you don’t get to use it in multiplayer anyway. It is not returning. The only UNSC weapons that are returning are in the weapons video.

Doubt it.

Oh yeah, it was the best gun that only showed up once in the campaign and every-now-and-again in Firefight.

It will never replace the Scarab gun in destructive capability.

It can’t even surpass the AA Wraith.

The target locator didn’t use orbital strikes, it called in strikes from long/short swords.

I think

Possibly A Unlockable Perk!

It wouldn’t make any sense.

“The H-165 Forward Observer Module is a compact, handheld laser pointer designed for acquiring and designating targets for small-scale orbital bombardment from an orbiting UNSC starship.”

This is how rumors start. 343i hasn’t made any such claim that could even be remotely interpreted as the target locator returning to the game, let alone an “unlockable” perk.

Does it have to be high orbit? It’s plausible that it could appear in spartan ops seeing as how the infinity is off the ground by then.

Does not mean it is and i am not a 343i employee so

I think it would make a great addition to the halo 4 sandbox if implemented and balanced properly.

Smaller Area of effect, and non tracking targeting system. Meaning it cant lock on to and follow a moving target, so players would have to choose a static area to designate an attack. Timing and predicting your opponents movement would be critical, unless of course you got a camper on your hands

Then you should have worded it differently? My apologies if English isn’t your first language (I don’t know you), but if it is, then you should probably notice the ambiguity of your wording. Saying that it’s “possibly an unlockable perk!” implies that it has been previously talked about/hinted at by some official source. You stated it as a fact.

Saying “maybe it will be an unlockable perk!” or “it would be cool if it was unlockable in the game!” states either your desire or your opinion, but can not be interpreted as a fact.

Sorry for being a grammar -Yoink!-. But hey, grammar is the difference between helping your uncle, Jack, off a horse, or helping your uncle -Yoink!- a horse. :stuck_out_tongue:

This.

I’m pretty sure that we won’t have support from orbit if we’re on Requiem.
