So, basically I was on Overlook and I placed a beacon for the Locator shot right in front of the main bridge. I heard the shots coming down, but I heard no explosions or anything from it. I didn’t get any kills either.
Later in the game I use the second shot and place it in basically the same spot to see what would happen. Sure enough, I hear the shots but get nothing.
Anyone else seen this happen?
Sometimes places that are out of bounds to normal players will cause the Target Locator to bug out and not fire down the missiles, on top of the bridge is a return to battlefield message so that would be one of the causes.
It wasn’t on top of the bridge, it was right in front of it. You can go there on the map. In fact, they actually spawn in the waterfall right next to it.
The missiles were likely still in range of the out of bounds area, causing it to show you such behaviour.
Hmm… That’s weird. I feel like I’ve put a Locator there before and had it work. Maybe I’m wrong, but I do think it should work considering it’s clearly part of the map you can go to.
I’ve had this problem I just either exit the game if your online or restart the firefight match if your on the offline firefight. it also might be because there’s something above the area your aiming at.
