Hello Spartans!
I have been playing War Zone A BUNCH since Halo 5 came out and with the newly added mobility abilities Halo has felt extremely fast and engaging. However, the Scorpion Tank and the Wraith are too sluggish, even though they are still very devastating when they are actually facing the enemy, they are extremely easy to sneak up on and dash the 25 meter detection radius of motion tracker and plant a grenade on for an easy kill (or two).
I have found it extremely frustrating to have my expensive 6 Req energy card so easily destroyed without any trade off on the opponents side, and, every-time I have destroyed someone else’s tank I have felt mildly amused (I have to confess), but still mostly bad and dirty about the situation.
Instead of just whining about the issue in this forum I propose, perhaps, a solution to this issue. (if my thoughts on this are common among the rest of the Halo War Zone community).
I don’t believe that the UNSC’s military engineers would be looking past the extremely embarrassing weakness that their Scorpion tanks so clearly have. While the armour plating is strong enough to shrug off the rounds of the most powerful ballistic weapons or the biggest plasma explosions, it seems to have an issue with grenade-fists. This is just logically absurd, and while I don’t doubt my Spartan’s ability to punch things effectively I feel that heavy vehicle plating should take a bit more effort than most other foes I encounter. So, perhaps have Spartans attempt to weaken the armour plating first with 2 melee attacks before ramming a grenade into the rear engine. I feel this would be more reasonable, and give more time for team-mates to deal with the sneaky spartan.
Don’t get me started on the grenade sized hole in the back of covey wraith tanks. They should just stick a sign on the back and say “Place grenade here.” The coveys have previously been seen to use smaller hard-plasma shields to defend core components of their weapons of war, like in their scarabs, or in the anti-air cannons which were deployed in the invasion of Reach. These (while not as effective as the strongest armour plating of scorpion tanks) may require at least one melee attack to break before a spartan might throw a grenade in there. Again, to give team-mates just a little more time to defend such a powerful asset.
I just wanted to share my thoughts on this because it is something I find to be a bit ridiculous in Warzone. Ultimately, you could still catch tanks with no support at all, off guard, no problem. but when there is at least one other Spartan around, I feel, there should be far more opportunity to deal with these threats than there is at present. If you disagree I would like to know why people think it should stay the way it is, but if you like it I would encourage you to share this idea around. Maybe we can get a balance update.
Good Hunting Spartans!

P.S Don’t tell me that the hole in the back of a Wraith is an exhaust port. If it is re-route that -Yoink- and call THAT hole the reactor-bypass! (or some other crazy Sci-Fi contraption)
