Tankmaster Rok is in a Wraith on the beach! The enemy has all three bases and your core is vulnerable… What do I do?
If I’m blue team, I go capture the enemy’s teams armoury, they generally do not see that coming till its too late as they are all fighting Rok and cannot see or care that their armoury is under attack, by that time Rok is nearly out and my team is starting to capture the Spire and red team has to fight to even get up onto their own base, often meaning we take it, we then take back our own armoury fighting them on all sides of it while keeping a few Spartans back to defend the enemies armoury, we then have all bases and they have to defend their core
If I’m red team, well this plays out differently, I defend our core, while trying to capture our own armoury back (often hard to do as some people chose to press the attack on the core) and let the enemy take out Rok, once Rok is out, I will then go around and capture blue teams armoury as blue team is now too far away from there own armoury to save it from me Mawhahahaha!
Scenario 3, I have a tank, I stay far back hoping not to be spotted, if I am, meh, I’m in a tank and they go down, but I wait till Rok is on low enough life, but maximum amount so no one else can kill in one unless they are doing my tactic, and fire, making sure I get the kill hit, I then lay down cover fire for my team to take an armoury, press forward and make them go on the defensive.
A point I’m also trying to make is there is no single decision you do all the time, it depends on the variables at play, the greatest variables to me is what team I am on, where I am, what I have (just a br or a tank, or a Spartan laser) and what my team is doing, if a load of my team is doing the tactics above I might go and sneak round and take out Rok.

Depends on the score really because a legendary kill does a pretty good job at dropping enemy moral
