Its all clear now, even if we’re 246-900 and we’re getting farmed we can somehow sneak on by to destroy the enemy core.

I fall to my knees in dismay as I know the enemy team is on the cusp of victory. I remove my Mk V Alpha helmet and feel the sun on my face as it beams down upon Apex 7. A solitary tear rolls down my augmented cheeks and I sling my Battle Rifle aside. At this moment, a fellow Spartan appears at my side carrying a SPNKR Prime and offering a hand to help me to my feet.
“You heard the commander, we’re not out of this yet.” He growls and slaps my shoulder in camaraderie. I feel a renewed sense of hope and I sling my BR.
While we are stood, we both get wiped out by a passing enemy in a Hannibal Scorpion. The Tank rolls over both our corpses on its way to victory.
Last thing I see scroll across my visor is DEFEAT.
“They shut us down, ending simulation.”
We are all getting a bollocking when we get back to Infinity.
