Who wins?
I wonder if the M808B main battle tank can one-shot the new mech. Or maybe the Mantis has enough firepower and agility to outgun the ‘big daddy’ of vehicles.
Mantis looks like some ewoks could easily dispatch it.

The Mantis seems to be really…fragile.
I’m sure that both would explode if hit by the primary fire of tho other vehicle.

Tank kills everything in either 1-2 hits, Mantis looks like it has some serious fire power, from the looks of it, it took out a Phantom in one screen shot so it has power too, so it would all depend on who got the first shot off/drop, but in a face to face battle, unless the Mantis has some sort of boost ability to evade the tank will rip it apart.

Yup, laughed my -Yoink- off when the marine in Halo 3 came out with that comment.
I dunno, that Mantis in the image looked like it was packing some serious heat if it was able to down a phantom as easily as it did. In past iterations, it took several volleys of the Scorpion’s main cannon to down just one.
If it turns out the pelican can be used in custom games/forge or whatever, how much firepower do you think it will take to take one down??

I can see it being a slightly less armored, but more mobile counterpart to the Scorpion. Me gusta.

I did, but it looks a lot more like a mech from Mech Assault or Metal Gear.
What if you could t-bag the tank with the mantis? It seems like the mantis is a mobile defense platform.
I think the tank would win. However, as I have yet to see the Mantis in action its hard to say. It looks like they could be about evenly matched.
