I’m going to try for this achievement in Halo Reach. It says I have to complete the mission with the scorpion “intact”. Does that mean no damage at all, or it can’t be totally destroyed?
Also, if anyone could help me get it, that would be greatly appriciated.
It just means that the tank cannot be destroyed. It actually is pretty easy. Just be mindful of your surroundings and keep your distance from enemies and you’ll have that achievement before I can say antidisestablishmentarianism (real word, btw).

Its quite easy, what I did, I got the tank to the spot you can steal a revenant, then stopped there. Went ahead and done everything until I needed to go through to the base and got my tank and drove it to the base, got my medal. It was nice. The hardest one to get for me was the legendary campain one…
They came to hear me beg was easy…took me 6 times…I gave mysef a limit 1/10 tries, got it on the 6th.

If They Came To Hear Me Beg took me a total of about 8 hours to get, over the span of about 5 days of trying.

You’re friggin’ lucky! I tried for who knows how long from Sep 2010 until they released an update Jan 2011. I tried it then and finally got it. I subjected my Spartan to over 200 deaths in a single sitting ALONE!

I believe the tank needs to get to sword base. You can leave it behind while you kill everything else, but you need to come back for it.

It might also be worth knowing that it doesn’t seem to matter if the tank gets destroyed and you die along with it, loading a checkpoint didnt seem to make any differance to the achievement unlocking. All that seems to matter is that something resembleing a tank rolls into Sword base!
I base this on watching my son get it inspite of getting spread all over Reach in a very messy way many many times till finally he made into Sword base. I was a bit upset he got it that way after I had been so carefull and crept through the mission like I was scared of my own shadow and he rolled through like a wrecking ball 
It’s fine as long as you can still drive it, but you have to drive it right up to where you need to get out of it.
Doesn’t matter what condition the Tank is in, or if you have died, so long as you can drive the Scorpion onto the door that you open to get into Sword Base. That’s the annoying thing about it, usually you get out too early to open the door, just drive the Tank onto the door and keep pushing it until it unlocks.

Meh, it was timing…Me, lucky, ya right…The only luck I ever get is surviving everyday, just like everyone else. I did the achievement again and it took about 3 times more, and I got it. I did it on my cousins, because he couldn’t do it. Oh, he got the elite assasinated, but something didn’t click right for some reason.
@OP: Tank Beats everything achievement, It can be up in smoke with its tank gone, as long as it still moves, it counts.
I actually found If They Came to Hear Me Beg pretty easy. I did it with 2 friends so we could keep respawning on the cliff. I pulled off the assassination with no achievement on the 3rd jump and 5th I got it. Then as my 2 friends were trying I kept randomly doing it. A few times I got it multiple jumps in a row. Others times I would jump with them or right before accidentally and steal it.
Now I doing flying assassinations in multiplayer to people. We even made a custom map with a jump the highest possible distance to assassinate from, you can’t even see the target person without zooming in. My goal is to perform an assassination in multiplayer from the top of the spire onto someone on the ground or jet packing.
I got it guys! Easy as hell! The hardest part is the beginning when you’re on foot. Plus, my tank wasn’t on fire! It was just barely smoking.
