So I was thinking about the Brutes and how they kind of disappeared from the main Halo titles. I liked the Brutes as Halo 3, followed by Reach was my introduction to the series which had Brutes replace Elites. So, i remember doing some Halo research as I am still a noob to the lore of everything and I heard something about an attempted peace between Brutes and Elites that went wrong or something. So now I cannot help but think about what if the Brutes or a small group actually did go through with a peace treaty and potentially ally themselves with the UNSC and Swords of Sanghelios. This then brings me to the armor of Brutes and I always found it strange how the armor broke completely once the shield was destroyed. So I cannot help but think what if Project Mjolnir made new armor for their new ape like companions and these new Brutes would be referred to as Berserkers or their armor would be labeled Berserkers Class Power Armor.
I also wanna see someone try to mention apes and bigfoot to brutes. See how it goes.
The peace treaty you are referring to is the setting of one of the story arcs from Halo Escalations. A fairly reasonable Brute Chieftain was about to meet with a Sangheili delegation to start peace talks between the two species. Personally though, I’ve never really liked stories that treated an entire species as a monolith. I mean one Chieftain can’t speak for a skein or even a whole pack… so what exactly was the plan even if that meeting went well? Some other Chieftain could disagree and challenge that one to a fight to the death, and we start all over again.
But I digress… the UNSC has yet to incorporate any species into the formal ranks of the human military. ONI has run some black ops missions with alien contractors, but nothing has come close to full integration, aside from the mostly civilian occupied research colony on ONIRF Trevelyn. So if the UNSC isn’t even integrating basic alien military units into their human units, I’d be more than a little shocked to find that an entire line of Mjolnir was being created for an alien species. Sure we have some collaborative efforts between humans and Sangheili that have led to the likes of Heliosrkill Armor, but nothing along the lines of what you are suggesting.
A human in Mjolnir armor is unstoppable enough. Add to that the ridiculous mass and strength of a Brute and you’re looking at a problem even a Spartan couldn’t solve.

Well they could always just fight and conquer the others.
It is true but it was simply just an idea. More so I wondered how strong brutes would be if they had proper armor.
They had proper armor in Halo 3. They were challenging and fun enemies to fight. I would absolutely hate if they Incorporated Covenant species into the UNSC this soon after a GENOCIDAL WAR where Humanity was being systematically exterminated and, before a stupid retcon, was reduced to only having Earth left and only won because of what amounts to a technicality.
Bad enough they had the stupid Covenant Refugee Town in Buenos Aires immediately following the war.
If they had competent writers, none of that would have happened. We wouldn’t have the bloated monstrosity that is the Infinity either, Spartan IVs or the Trainwreck that is Halo 5.
What would have happened is that the UNSC would have just turtled up following the war and fortified Earth instead of going “We are the Giants now” with exploratory missions outward to re-establish contact with whatever human elements were hiding and brokering peace agreements, not rolling around with suddenly replenished fleets. But again, that is what happens when you hire terrible writer after terrible writer.

Proper armor that breaks once shields are down and the helmet pops off with a charged plasma pistol-

Nice reference to Venezia there, buddy.

Gameplay reasons are there for gameplay. They shouldn’t be taken as the lore example. After all, a single shot with a plasma rifle basically melted marines and MJOLNIR armor could only withstand one or two shots before the armor failed entirely.
Ignoring gameplay limitations and focusing on this from a in-universe perspective, Brutes had effective power armor that only made them /more/ dangerous to fight. Even unarmored, a ‘naked’ Chewbacca Brute circa Halo 2 was very nearly able to kill the Chief in single combatduring the Raid on the Unyielding Hierophant.
