How come it’s weaker than Hailstorm?
from the looks of it it does the same damage as a normal needler does it even deserve to be a rare req
Hailstorm should be the only needler in the game just like Light of Urs should be the only rods in the game…

Huh, now that you mention it, that would explain more than a few of my deaths…
havent gotten this variant yet
i have noticed that the base versions are “nerfed” versions and at least one variant is the “normal” performance level from previous games
base needler is still OP as fsk though. easily get trips with it

I think it’s more of an anti vehicle weapon. The needles embed themselves in armor. It definitely takes longer to kill infantry with. So far, it’s effective against Ghosts and gooses. One combine kills the player but leaves the vehicle intact even when it doesn’t directly hit them.
Haven’t had much experience with it on other vehicles, and it’s doesn’t lock on to AI vehicles for some reason. My relation with it is the same as the Railguns. Hailstorm and Whiplash are better then their rare counterparts, in terms of infantry. Arc of Light is good anti vehicle.

Suppressed a gun is never truly silent.

Yea me too, took me way too long to figure it out and I just assumed the weapon was garbage…it still kind of is tbh

It just feels that way.It probably has a lower rate of fire.

One thing that the Talon of the Lost has over the Hailstorm is that it can shred through many different vehicles. Other needles just can’t match that.
