Pros and cons of the game aside has everyone else noticed a drop off in how many people actually talk and socialize in multiplayer? My fondest memories of halo 2 and 3 are bs’ing with other people halfway around the world and and cracking up over stupid -Yoink- kills and commentary, now I’m lucky if one other person actively uses their mic during a match.
I think most of them have already grouped together. I know for a while I added anyone with a mic. Now I almost always have a full team for whatever I want to play.
Partychat system, Skype, people just generally being anti-social because of the whole XBL is full of 12 year olds that’ll call you racial slurs and other bad rep things, people sticking with friends. It sucks but it is what it is. Usually not to hard to find people to play with on different community forums though.

Yeah I’m most likely going to start going that route, I always liked the spontaneity of randomly being able to strike up a conversation with someone from austrailia or europe at at any moment.
Spontaneity is nice when it works, but Kinect ruined chat for me.
I’ve been trying to find games with people who talk recently…no luck
I have played both Halo 5 and Gears of War and I rarely find anyone talking.
Probably the only reason I hate party chat.
I’ve talked with some players here and there but mostly. I don’t since its always filled with bratty people trying to be cool.
