I’m interested. 343i, we need some details on the specs of these new types of forerunner AI’s/Soldiers.

I was surprised.
But it reminded me of The Collectors from Mass Effect 2. Oh well.
They sound a lot like Scorpion from Mortal Kombat

If i run away from one to get my shields up and it says “Get Over Here!” im probably going to die
All enemies are apparently going to speak English this time around.
I’m just curious how they’re different from the Promethean Knights combat wise. Did anybody else notice the new Promethean fighter ship? Buck takes it down in the demo, but if you notice towards the end Locke and his team are piloting those.
343i did say that they wanted the Prometheans feel more than just robots, that they were humanized machines, and that they failed that in Halo 4.
From the looks of it, the Soldiers are the humanized machines 343i wanted.

I think they attempted to make them more bestial in Halo 4. Hence why the Knights were always screaming in your face and the feral nature of the Crawlers. The fact that they talk in Halo 4 may make them more than just big robots.
Because they’re not. They’re AIs derived from human and Forerunner essences.

I’m glad the grunts are again, I was so disappointed when the vast wealth of silly nonsensical lines they had was removed in Reach and 4.
“I REGRET EVERYTHING!” ~Nameless Grunt in the demo.
pls don’t suck on their big blue balls
I don’t find this enemy type all that impressive yet regardless of its back story. At leasts the knight where something different gameplay wise.
