John’s flash clone did not survive till 12. This side of the story is a lie. If it did it wouldn’t been physically active (besides he’s listed as dead at age 6 in paperwork obtained by Giraud). This parallels the boxing story in which he fought marines as a young trainee, so it’s not too hard to assume that’s where ONI got the idea for the story from. Now the woman talking about playing with John as a kid is cannon, its even featured in Halo 3’s launch trailer. This side of the story is truthful.
