Halo 4 has a new gametype called infinity slayer, which allows for custom/player made loadouts, but I’m seeing that people will only choose the BR in their loadouts, come on… No love for the DMR or the Carbine? It’s okay if the slayer loadouts don’t have the DMR but come on people.
DMR over the BR any day! Storm rifle looks promising as well.
Everyone is going to have a number of loadouts, and not everyone is going to pick the BR, theres just as many people who are going to pick the DMR and carbine. Me personally I’m going to use the AR at least for a while, then switch to the suppressor or the light rifle.
I actually think the carbine looks pretty good. The BR looks a bit nerfed and if it isn’t good anymore then I’ll probably use the carbine.
the precision weapons are going to rain supreme simply because of the accuracy with good kill times, those automatics have a very limited use while the precision weapons have a much broader use.
I’ll be sticking to Carbine and Dmr over Br.

DMR looks like the best gun in the game. Best range, best accuracy, faster kill-times than the BR, more control over your shots, etc. BR is a 5-shot, no dice. Just a nooby, spready pop-gun for nostalgia fools and BKs. The Carbine looks really sick, though. (not as sick as the DMR)
It’s iroinic that most people would choose the DMR because from what I’ve heard alot more people like the Battle Rifle.

Carbine. I can’t wait to use it!
Assault Rifle will be my primary weapon. If I use Firepower I’ll use a BR for my secondary.

I would prefer the BR but the DMR looks like it will be the dominant weapon in the hands of a skilled user so I’ll most likely use that.

DMR. Spread on the BR is a joke and way too inconsistent. The DMR in every way is the superior weapon.
If the BR is no good, then I’ll probably just use the carbine.
It depends on the map for me. Its looking like the DMR overall is better, but it also looks harder to hit with short-mid than the BR is. So maps with mid-long engagements I’ll probably use the DMR and maps built for short-mid I’ll probably use the BR. I’ll try the carbine on both to see where it better fits in and see if I even like it at all.
Hard choice for me since I actually intend to try out every weapon. Beyond that, my loadouts will probably be map specific, DMR for Longbow, BR for Haven, And carbine for Adrift.
