I have been (and I encourage you guys to do this as well) inviting people that I play against that are low levels and helping them to learn the game. I invite them to play and, for lack of better words, carry them to victory.
This game can be overwhelming if you are brand new to it and having somebody there to help you learn tactics, strategies, the map, and what weapons to use and how to use them, can really make the game seem less overwhelming.
So please, help out the Christmas noobs. Invite them to your lobby/party and show them how to play and “carry” them to a few wins.

Been talking about this to my mates for the last few days and we plan to invite any teamates to chat and join us for further matches if they seem low level or if they are struggling
I just started before Christmas but have been putting in a lot of hours since I am off from work for the week, I would really appreciate it if someone could do what the op said. I like chat to try to get better and do a lot better in the 5% of games someone else does as well.
Being mid level gold just sort of sucks after a couple of days because even averaging like 15 kills you get stuck with people going like 2 for 15.
If you’re doing this out of the spirit of kindness and wanting to make it easier for new kids to get on the Halo train then my hat is off to you.
If you’re doing this because it’s likely to give you easier matches… then my hat goes back on.
But in the spirit of the season I’ll take you at your word, assume that you’re a genuine good guy, and add that Halo could use more players like you.
I’d team up with you but I make a terrible teammate. And I already know everything anyone could try to teach me. My problem isn’t knowledge. It’s execution. There’s no amount of schooling that can fix slow or unmotivated.

ITS SACR3D!!! I PLAYED A WARZONE ASSAULT MATCH WITH YOU EARLIER!!! Now I don’t feel bad dieing to you so much as I know it was for a good cause. I died to team noobs. Helping out even though I was actually trying. Feels good.

Yeah, there has been a boon of new players that will either need to find their way or be shown it.

Yes I agree with what your are saying, it will hopefully build a stronger Halo. Then a christmas newb ran over the whole team…
For once, I decided to be extremely generous. Story time, please.
It was in the late stages of a Warzone match on Sanctum. My team was dominating the other. I pulled out a Hannibal Mantis to help with the fight. I got in a couple of kills here and there, and so on. But as I was leaving towards our side, a random friendly player seemed to be following my Mantis for a short bit. Then I realized…
“Hmm, perhaps they’d like to borrow my ride?”
So I got out my Hannibal Mantis, prompted the player who was following me to take my ride, and we shared a mutual -Yoink!- (which is the only exception to my outlook on teabagging). Immediately, the other player sent me a message that said:
“I LOVE YOU!!”
…then they went to town with that thing. Don’t worry, I have plenty of Mantises to go around.
