taking each other out with a melee?

My friend and I are trying to figure out what the voice says when you and your enemy kill each other with a melee. She thinks it’s costume kill. I think it sounds like something with a p. Can’t find anything while searching. Does anyone have any idea what that’s called? Halo 5. Thanks for your help in squashing this debt.

The closest one I can think of is “Brawler.” Different announcers call it different things though. For example, Exuberant calls it “Fisticuffs.” Is that what you’re talking about?

Which announcer are you using?

The default announcer says “Brawler”.
Buck goes “Oooh, bloody knuckles”.
Exuberant says “Fisticuffs”.
And Yabda says “Ooooh, good puncher!”

I don’t know where you got “costume kill” from any of the above.

There’s other medals he could obtain too with this method. Only others I can think of would be a Gun Punch medal.

I have used Exuberant as an announcer for over a year and I think you’re talking about “from the grave”. Exuberant calls it “posthumous kill” meaning after death. In your case you probably got it after trading melees with someone but, it isn’t restricted to melees.

They say something when you take someone out with a melee??? I’ve never had it say anything when I kill people with a melee. There’s times when it will say something like Cluster luck and a couple others, but never anything when I melee someone
