ive noticed in the halo video games that when you have been shot you stand up, or when you duck for cover and you carnt. surely this defies the meaning of taking cover.
No you don’t?
To be honest with you when I’m a superhuman wearing half a tonne of armor who is still able to jump ridiculously high the LAST thing I’m thinking about is cover.
best defence, not be there.
> best defence, not be there.
Best defence, out Br that fool!
I agree. I want to be able to take cover more than crouching behind something, but sadly. The game is basically done, they are just polishing it more and more, this means unless they have it in there already, I doubt that they will add on something like that because you need to make and edit maps a certain way and I. Sure they are done maing maps, they are just polishing and fixing bugs by now,
Forget cover, they should have individual spirit animals that you can summon.
Screw cover. I’m a superhuman cybernetically enhanced beast wearing a ton worth of armor. I don’t need cover, that’s what guns are for.
This game is far too free flowing for that sort of thing.

What happens when you have to reload and/or have ran out of ammo, or you are getting sniped at from a long distance?

Go back to Gears please.
ive played with toggle crouch and bumper jumper since first started halo 3. just stating one thing in the game which needed looking at

When you’re crouched and you start getting shot at you want to stand up so you can strafe properly. Stay crouched and you’re just a big, slow, easy target. That’s why you automatically pop up using toggle crouch. It’s not really a problem. Only in a few select scenarios would you actually wanna stay crouched under fire. If you don’t like it don’t use toggle. It’s a pretty easy fix :3

No one uses cover in Gears either.

I lol’d
Skyrim perhaps ?
OT: I just don’t think that its going to happen. I think that cover taking works overall better in TPS.
I just want prone.
I’ve never noticed this before. Halo isn’t really about taking cover… In games like CoD or BF3, you’re forced to because of how vulnerable you are; with the MJOLNIR’s shields however, you move a lot more freely around maps and cover isn’t that much of an issue.
> I just want prone.
Good god no.
COD or Gears wants you to play them.
